The ‘Gentleman of Games Way’ to build a free collection:
Step 1: Hunt down games anywhere you can find them, remember to check them to make sure they are all in good condition.
Step 2: Where possible use the CEX App to ensure you get more cash than what you are about to pay, otherwise use your skills and gaming knowledge to find the bargains.
Step 3: Use the CEX App to find out what cash value our High street overloads will give you for all your recently hunted games in total. Make sure CEX will give you more (or at least) the same cash that you spent on your newly found games before you get to the store.
Step 4: Remember to set aside the games you want to keep and enjoy for your own free games collection. Ensuring that the cash return of the other games going to CEX will cover what you spent on the games you are keeping, and that's the key to making the collection FREE.
Step 5: Walk into your local CEX, be kind and polite, and exchange your games for cash. If your bundle is worth more cash than what you spent you decide if you want; more cash for future hunts, or a voucher to buy any specific games you want in your collection.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat forever and ever to build and enjoy a gaming collection to keep you and your loved ones constantly entertained and enjoying gaming for the rest of your days.

The fallout show is ace! Loved it! Great pickups this week. This is easily my favourite of the YT game collection series. I like the Retro Ghetto but yours, reflects my journey a lot closer. Good tip to have a stock of 360 controller battery backs in stock from eBay get about 20 for £10. I took one into CEX this week they said it didn't work, swapped the back for them in front of them worked fine they took it in no problem.

Cheers mate, everyone is different RG has a great channel but it's a lot different in approach 🤘 360 back and Wii backs like you say can get of Ebay for less than £1 each in bulk and can turn a useless controller into £10+ at CEX glad the tip is useful 😁 thanks for watching mate

Some really great stuff this episode! Shame about that dvd set missing a few discs. Here in Canada, was able to pick up a copy of Peter Jackson’s King Kong XBOX 360 for dirt cheap. The price on that game is astronomical these days.

Great video as always. On DVD boxsets, the things to look out for are complete sets of series, horror and anything uncommon that can't be found on streaming. There's a publisher called Network who put out a lot of wonderful and weird British series that you can't find anywhere else. I found one of their boxsets sealed for 3 quid, sold it for 75. So there are certain series that everyone bought when DVD boxsets became a thing and now carry little to no value, even if they still have big cultural cache. Sex and the City is always my main example, you will be shocked by how little they offer for the complete set. 24 is another one, still carries some value but not very much, would have to get the whole set for a quid or so to make it worth it. Most major single films are worth nothing. If it's a hollywood blockbuster of the last 20 years, likely worth nothing. Two good questions to ask yourself, have I heard if it? Then how easy would it be to access this on streaming? If its a complete set of some series you have never heard of, always check it out. Also Only Fools and Horses is the Black Ops 2 of the dvd world. Find it all over and still carries value (if a complete series).

Mate that is some cracking advice thank you very much and makes perfect sense... same as games I guess the big sellers worth less than the more obscure. I gathered box sets had the value and agree shocked how little you get for the blockbusters. I'm going to remember the 2 questions and see how that works out 😁 thank you for sharing the knowledge mate appreciate it 🤘 oh and I love only fools and horses no wonder it's the black ops 2 of DVD'S 😂

@@gentlemanofgames No worries at all! I get more results out of dvd boxsets than games. Lot less competition for them but some have excellent trade in. Would Def keep your eyes open, especially at car boots. The resellers seem to be much less focused on them.

Great pickups, my non GotY fallout 3 stayed in the collection because they were giving 10p. Not worth it but £2 voucher will do nicely. I like knack but it isn't anything amazing

@@gentlemanofgames I'd watch that, if you need reinforcements happy to give a short clip citing some quality titles that are cheap! I spent £70 on Splatterhouse 2 for example and it's a great game but it took me 4 hours whilst I paid about £1.50 got bayonetta on the 360 and had about 3/4 days worth of entertainment. Value doesn't define quality! Something I'm deeply passionate about as a lot of games get written off for being common/cheap

Nice pick ups mate. When it comes to trade ins. I've been getting voucher more and more this year. As I've tried to get a bunch more PS3 uncommon titles. Don't need the heavys, I've got most of them. 😂

@@gentlemanofgames I'm with you on the tax man. Such a headache. If you want a cheap recommendation. Quantum Theory or Hunted: The Demons Forge. Both are very similar to Gears of War and quite fun.

Wish I could find good solid trade in games for a £1 at charity shops 😢 all the charity shops where i live down South are shockingly greedy most of the time. I've had decent luck at the carboots last year but charity shops are a fail 90% of the time😂 I really should start fallout 3 so i can see what the hype is all about then watch the show to understand the world and easter eggs more. My back catalogue is over 30 games now 😂

Yeah mate I'm Midlands and seen on a few channels CS down south are horrendous compared to these parts. Fallout 3 is my GOAT, so glad it's getting the attention it deserves... new Vegas is most peoples favourite so suggest trying that too 🤘

I'm sure gta v on xbox 360 has gone down in value. You see it all the time at boot fairs and I remember it getting £3 or something like that, not £1.60
