When reinforcing the dash I used a plastic welder to weld metal in the high stress areas of the mounting structure. It makes a world of difference.

It looks so much nicer than all of the chrome. Something to consider since you’re gonna be getting some paint work done already. I really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work!

For the window check the wires between the door and cab, that body style of truck tends to pinch and break over time. It was nice talking with you at the car and bike show a few weeks ago. (I was the guy with the bbq food truck)

I was going to do my bed liner and spray over the rail. Only because when the truck was new to me a co-work hit me as I was backing out. I had a local body shop repair it. They did a crappy job. The on the top of the rail I have a few hail dents and the clear is pealing. I'm debating on using plastic caps or spray it with the rest of the bed.

@@TWAMotorsports I was looking at raptor stuff from Upol. My bed gets some use for sure. Would hopefully stop the clear from pealing up on the top and hid the hail dents. If course I could feather and primer it and hid it with the caps. Its likely not going to get painted any time soon.

Those small fuse blocks are different depending on the truck options. The dl8 power mirror rpo code truck has a different fuse block when compared to a wt without power windows or mirrors. I'm not sure when you bought this truck but I'm curious if the mirrors work?

@@TWAMotorsports yea that's odd. I would just pull that drivers window switch off and check power at the switch. You could just have a bad switch. All you gotta pull off is that tall grab handle that uses 2 10mm bolts and the whole switch panel will just pop off.

Put a trim tape or some 2 sided tape inside the stake pockets to hold the stake pocket caps in place better

@14:43 The parking brake release is built into the parking brake pedal for that particular year panel. No handle to pull any more and not sure which year it changed. My 2011 has no pull handle. As far as the door locks are concerned, have you checked continuity to and from the switch. I suspect the switch has failed due to corrosion buildup on the switch contacts internally. If the windows are left down and rain gets on any of the switches the nnbs switches have a tendancy to fail. Just some food for thought. New to the channel and love the details and content you re providing! Cheers
