Rob alderman who’s the GW Middle earth manager commented on Facebook and said the angmar supplement was meant to come out when the plastic witch king did, such a shame that we haven’t had chance to play it over the past 2 years or so, but atleast the new models will have updated profiles and be fun playing with, new life into this fantastic game is always good news

Aww thats such a shame!

A new edition for every movie? That’s a really hot take. The upcoming films are one-offs not trilogies, and this game has been around for a long time, I can’t imagine they’d do a full on new edition with each film. A supplement seems much more likely.

Totally against the idea of a new edition. IMO The existing one is fine.

I disagree. Judging by the changes they have announced, they all seem for the best. Spreading out fight values, simplifying things like in the ways. Updating character profiles to make heroes more individual. All these sound great to me. As long as the core game remains unchanged, which im confident it will, then I am very happy :)

As someone whose on the outside looking in im excited for the new edition. Especially hearing about the armies of middle earth book because that could mean we get new cool models, and as a fan of the Shadow series thats kind of my hope that we get some stuff around that even though its a stretch. Still super cool and Im looking forward to jumping into the community at the start of the new edition.

Legendary legion FOR ME remove a lot of the fun of list building. I appreciate from a competitive standpoint they have merit. I don't enjoy that particular aspect. I think they shoehorn folk into picking for efficiency and competition

I personally think the LLs are better for narrative and thematic play. I don't really enjoy seeing Boromir lead elves or Helm Hammerhand with Dwarves etc. I still think they will make those kind of combos possible, but having LLs for every moment makes It way more excited IMO 😁

GW can have my money. Im getting the Supplement book, all the new minis, and the new edition boxset... Now I just need a means to get all that money 🤔

The one thing I'm sad about regarding the legacy PDF is that model availability will be lessened (especially for newer FW models, which I can imagine will go there as from what I've heard New Line Cinema hasn't been too on board with every single GW invention) and I expect quite a few of the heroes I actually own to go into the PDF and as it's released a little bit after the initial books it'll mean I basically just get to play with whichever army list includes the Witch King. Speaking of which, though, I'm super hyped for army lists and I cannot wait to see what they do with them, combining the concept of LLs with the old Legions of Middle Earth book sounds like a brilliant idea to me.

Cant wait to see the new LLs 😁

I think fate could work to re-roll dice. Changing the fate and outcome of the action.
@HistoryoftheAgesАй бұрын
Yeah I really like that actually. Like a command re roll in 40k. Could work well!

If the new models will be available at your store, could you do a little video on suspected prices?
@HistoryoftheAgesАй бұрын
