The red/blue button is to select hot(red)or cold(blue) texture. To engage for # you have to hit it two times fast and it will start blinking meaning it’s in # mode

yep: here is the description from the manual : "'Fv04 provides major and minor scale selection. Press the SHARP twice quickly to select the minor scale of the current root note. The SHARP button will keep blinking. Press the SHARP key twice a gain quickly to toggle back to the major scale. The SHARP button will stop blinking." Hope that helps

Are the harmonies controlled by the guitar chord you play... So if I play a minor guitar chord will the harmonies be minor. How does it compare to the TC Electronics harmonies
@JohnPaulMusicUK7 ай бұрын
No. It doesn’t pick up the guitar for harmonies. You have to change the middle dial to say what key it’s in and then the button tells it to be sharp or not. TC Electronic harmonies sound more natural to me but they are more expensive.

That works well. I would place it on my pedal board, but at 1.5a geez. Used at the right times is just another ingredient to sound amazing. The same with a guitar pitch/harmony pedal.

Yeah it’s a power guzzler alright. Add this with their ‘corrector’ pedal before it and the ‘recorder’ pedal after it and it’s ace!

Hey JP love the breakdowns! What would you say is the best solution for harmony pedals. Currently using the build in fx on Headrush looperboard, but its really finnicky. How does the headrush harmony fx compare to the boss pedals or tc helicons?
@JohnPaulMusicUK4 ай бұрын
In my humble opinion any harmony that can pick up the chords naturally is always going to be superior. That’s why I have always kept the TC-Helicon Voicelive play acoustic. They are hard to come by so if you wanna stay with Boss look at the VE-8 or the VE-500. If you want something small, have a look at the TC-Helicon Harmony Singer 2. Perfect for smaller setups. Hope that helps.

Can you do more vids on using this with the RC-500? Looks like the hot knives got your lip! hehe

Is the flamma can use for keyboard.??
@JohnPaulMusicUKАй бұрын
yes you could plug a keyboard into it instead of a guitar.

That’s good. Depends who’s singing 🤣

@@JohnPaulMusicUK Yes, of course, but considering that you only tested the pedal to present us with the its possibilities, it sounds quite acceptable. It is unfair to compare Flamma and twice more expensive TC Helicon.

this sounds far less good than tc electronic/helicon pedals (of course they're more expensive but much more useful IMHO)
