I remember being on of the first few Haitian-American students at Indian Pines in the early 90’s. Representation matters . At the time they only offered a spanish class as an elective. I now speak Spanish fluently and it all started back in Indian Pines ❤❤❤❤ my Creole however,needs work . 😂

My son knows a little bit creole thru his lovely hard working Haitian father. Wish he could this helpful opportunity could be nation wide.

This is a mistake. These people come to America and they must assimilate and learn English since they hear the language of their parents at home. What about the American kids in the classrooms who should be taught in English. Catering to the foreign kids needs only holds English speaking kids back & this is not fair.

One, the US doesn't have an official language and two, it's called a dual language program. Meaning, they learn in English +1 other language (Spanish or Creole). Do you not want kids learning another language??

If you come to America you should learn to speak English. If I moved to Mexico you could guarantee nobody is going to start learning English for my sake. If you choose to live here then you should learn the common language

Don't be IGNORANT!! just because someone came from another country doesn't mean they don't know English! 🙄"America is a melting pot of immigrants" Haitian Creole is a beautiful language 😍 and I have many haitian friends who speak english..Open your mind to learn new things instead of knocking it down 👎 Merci' 🙏
