Rick is so fast an accurate , Rick's hand makes it look like when you speed up a video or rewind it. amazing, I am always inspired, I know one day maybe I too can be so good. I'm kinda stuck on playing 3 notes per string and cant get out of that rut.

Great lesson! I always had the idea that you were mainly a legato-tapping player. However, I can see your alternate picking technique is simply amazing. Thank you for helping us to be better guitar players :)

Hey rick, I’m curious as to the tuning. Not just on your strat’s and tele’s but the 24 frets as well. Some are just flexible and make it look easy in 440, I myself have not been very. Really the softest touch iv ever seen but with a nasty incredible bite as far as sound and speed. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge to the world. Do you use different picking techniques when playing rhythm and when soloing? I'm having issues with that when transitioning from rhythm to solo/lead. Any advice?

NAMM is for business minded players(gear-oriented). They steal your time to focus on practice(influences you to gear or tone seeking rather than to progress in playing) sad but true :)

I cannot believe what i just saw. That picking style is foreign to me, i could never learn it at speed. Brain says alternate at speed.

It's funny... I reduced the speed to 0,5 and it's still fast as hell.... hahahaha
