Tip for farming: Make Remy a farmer. When farming there's a chance you will get a gold plant that will let you click on it multiple times, however, when farming with say, Mickey, he will stand so close that you end up clicking 'talk' and missing out multiple harvests. Remy is so small that he's harder to click on and that way you can reap the whole reward :)

I may or may not be a grown ass man playing this game all weekend... lol. Another tip I found out. In each biome, I removed nearly all the useless stuff like trees, bushes, benches, and other decorations. Makes it SOOO much easier to find the stuff on the ground you need, like the wood, flowers, mining nodes, etc. And you're not running in between everything and can see the stuff on the ground without stuff in the way. You might need a few trees as it seems softwood/hard wood spawns next to them, but not completely sure.

Leave some trees(soft hard dry dark wood depending on biome) or it won't spawn the wood which can really suck

In case folks missed how he got into the Ratatouille realm so quickly and easily for the first tip, you open the map, then hit whatever button is associated with Fast Travel. On PC it's "T". I'm unsure on consoles, but the button should be displayed in the bottom right corner of the map. That opens the Fast Travel menu, and then you can go to any well or realm you've unlocked. Bonus tip, when you exit a realm after traveling to it this way, you don't return at the castle. You'll go back to exactly where you fast traveled from. This means you can be in the middle of a foraging run, or halfway done with harvesting a field, and get more energy with little to no interruption.

That scanning the map tip is really nice, you could also just pick the item up and place it near you so you don't have to walk to that biome, also works with restricted bridges. (works on flowers, clay, sticks etc.)

just a small correction: hardwood and softwood drops only depend on the biome, not on the type of tree! So you can go to the forest and delete every tree there and put a bunch of plaza trees up and it will make farming hardwood very easy!

You also can get dreamshards by digging glowing holes and feed animals their favorite food. It’s still not much but a bit more than only cleaning. Thanks for the first tips!! Really helpful ❤

Omg I’m using that bed tip because of Minnie’s request needing 200 clay. I’ve dug up so much of that area and I wasn’t looking forward to fixing it. This tip is ingenious and I will be forever grateful for it!

All the crafting resources in the game will actually be sold by Kristoff. Like all the stores in the game (which not many people may have noticed) their inventory rotates daily. For example, today in my game Kristoff is selling COAL!!! for only 5 gold. This is very handy for making souffles as alot of people dont like mining the coal. Also people may of not noticed that the outfits in Scrooge's windows match the expensive outfits on display in his shop. So you can see if you like any before going in. Also.. see those wonderful icons on the map.. if you click on any that is not a well, a purple light will guide you to it via the quickest route. Great for when the characters are running around and you keep losing them.

I’m pretty sure the kind of wood you get comes from the biome you’re in not the kind of tree it is. You can put any tree in the plaza and you will still only get soft wood.

Here’s a tip I just learned about inventory and making money. If you have a ton of ingredients like raspberries and all it takes to make a fruit salad is one, the more ingredients you add, the higher the value!

I get more dream shards from digging sparkling holes than anything, feed critters always give some herb or something. and clearing thorns give me 1 seed bag. This is just my experiences. Love the videos!

With the creatures feeding feels more like 33% chance on dream shard if you have their FAVORITE as opposed to just liked. When I don't get shard I get motif

I've enjoyed feeding the critters for shards. Getting the fav foods hasn't been too difficult. It was also recommended to leave a storage chest in each zone with the excess of favorite foods (like kelp or blueberries) for quick access. I've gotten several shards this way.

Personal tips of mine: -Build a bunch of chests and store as much as you can -Pick the flowers and store them! Idk why I never did at first but just trust me -Check the map for when crops need watered or harvested -You can teleport from the map to any wishing well-- you don’t have to be at a wishing well to teleport to one (Maybe I was stupid for this one? Lol) -Out of all the biomes, get sunlit valley and especially frosted heights last -Don’t bother upgrading Scrooge’s store too much unless you have a lot of extra money. It’s really not worth it. For Chez Remi, I’d recommend you just leave it at one upgrade at first.

Also lots of ppl recommended moving the wishing well so you can travel to blocked areas of the biome- DO IT. I felt like it was cheating so I didn’t for too long. It’s worth it because it’s so hard to do some of the missions because stuff just doesn’t spawn enough on half of the biome.

empty the chest that comes with the house then remove it. Go to scrooges shop and order 8 more. then drop one at each biome so you can access your chest inventory in each biome

Also, if you haven’t opened an area yet, because you haven’t unlocked being able to take care of the bigger mushrooms, or you can’t break the stumps yet or the bigger Coral, you can take your wishing well in builder mode move it to where you want it to be and then you can spawn to the area you can’t get to yet it’s kind of a cheat. Lol

The wood drops are based on biome not by tree type. So I placed plaza trees in all the biomes and deleted all the other trees out to make gathering wood easier.

Whoa! Whoa! How did your Thorn-explosion last so long? ~ 7:30. I'm on PS5 and those explosions last about 3 seconds! Even if completely BARE ground, it is still almost impossible to gather them up. If I get caught on an item, or don't notice one and have to back-track, then it can't be done. For reference, the anticipation music lasts MUCH longer than the explosion items. Edit: For clarity, you ran around and picked them up, but then stopped. In the background was one more. On my game (PS5) it would have already been gone.

I have this issue on the XBox Game Pass PC version too - I think it's a glitch cause it seems like it should last as long as the music is playing. Hope they fix this up soon cause we're missing out on a lot of chests that spawn when you complete these.

They fixed the dream shard problem. Now you can get them by digging in glowing holes and can get up to 2 per hole or a night shard. It's still not a lot but its enough to get your quests done that use them.

You get a lot of dreamshards from the digging spots around the map so just dig those up when you see them and you'll have a ton of shards in no time

Peanuts are what you want to give squirrels apples are a secondary because you dont get access to peanuts until later. Apples never give dream shards from what ive seen Peanuts have though.

ALSO. WHEN IT RAINS. go to the forest and try to collect as many sparkling herring fish (orange bubbles during rain) because you need them for Elsa. It is so hard to wait to finish a quest because you have to wait until it rains. Even if it is raining- without those orange bubbles you can’t find them. Stock up !

Squirrel is peanuts. Rabits carrots. Crocs lobster. Raccoons blue berries. Trutels sea weed. Foxes white sturgon. Birds in platou are mainly the flowers from that zone each color is a dif flower

Protip: you can imprison your followers when farming so you can control when they proc the extra harvestables. You just create a square of fencing with one open spot, push your follower inside, walk out of the square, enter edit mode and close it off. Go harvest. Once completed, go to edit mode, delete 1 section of fence. The follower will then run towards 1 spot (unless bumped by you) and then that follower will proc all the extra harvestables at once in a big explosion of stuff. Warning: this WILL crash your game if done with high yield farms. I would say do this with around 200-300 harvest yields to minimize the chance of crashing or lag.

As long as you just have stamina, you don’t actually use it to fill in holes. I tried this today and it seems to work costs zero you just to -have- stamina.

Squirrels favorite food are peanuts, not apple. Always feed critters favorite food to maximize possibility for shard drops. Feeding it anything else is a waste. On that note, I’ve noticed it a lot easier to approach the critters, Gators and Raccoons a lot easier using the full stamina bar (in yellow). Without it, you move too slow.

it's not a stamina bar it's an energy bar and it gets increased with each level. Semantics...but still. It could be potentially confusing to new players. Just throwing it out there:) Great video.

You can get dreamshards from the animals as well. Just give them their favorite food and most times, they drop a dreamshard.

Perhaps you need to level up the character's friendships. Some quests are blocked until certain requirements are met, such as getting higher friendship levels or opening new biomes.

@@thatstitch8348 It can mess up your crops, the plant cycles in the games, etc. So many people completely screwed up and broke their game by time traveling. Don't do it cause even the developers are like, "sucks for you. Shouldn't have been doing that anyway since it's cheating,." Fixing your game because of this is a low priority for them. Do at your own risk.
