I saw this in Cape Town just before we put the planet on lockdown. I was truly awestruck--especially by this piece. Sad. Spooky. Happy. Surreal. Worrying. Bold. Grandiose. Shocking. Pensive... all at once. You have to see it a few times to see what you missed the previous few times!

@@sonjadolzan614 Yes, in the beginning, I tried too hard to understand the interpretation of the artist. But a the end, I let myself completly immerse into the videos and I interpreted it myself. That's also what the art is about, isn't it ? So that everyone can find his own voice through it.

Saw this last weekend at the Milwaukee Art Museum preceded by a very informative lecture. The piece was amazing and haunting. Tangential: There was a long row of school chairs for viewers, but unfortunately twice as many people as chairs. I was irritated to see a dozen kids (6-12 years) sitting, leaving a large tour group of seniors to stand for 20-30 mins. behind the chairs of the seated kids. Not all the parents were clueless, there were several other kids who sat on the floor next to their parent/guardian and gave up their chairs to adults.
