The club need to put out a truthful statement explaining what they are planning to achieve with these changes. They have never explained the ‘project’ and we now have a ‘project 2.0’, we appear to be rudderless at the moment and labels like “circus” appear applicable.

adam webster 12 mill on tfr market...so at least 15 to 18 for us....looks solid fast tall....craig dawson type with height n bit of pace..can score a goal too.....do it...better than Mav. .makes Todibo look like a paperweight....COYI

I hear that. Has to be a balance. I like 'proven'; and tbh, we've had the capacity to get 'proven' for a while now. I'd like at least 14,15 'proven' players from top leagues in that squad and then some gems in there, scattered around, competing for places. It only takes 1 Caceido to get you rich. LOL. A Caceido every other season would be fine by me. Weve built a good squad, all be it with with a couple of gaps. No need to flood it with risk players. Saying that, the players I typically identify are from other leagues and feel like their valuation would sky rocket after a year in the Prem. In terms of us being linked to a Brighton player, I think it's just the case that we are genuinely in need of another body in that back line and bringing in someone Potter knows will support him. As long as he can do the job, that's fine by me. Seems less of a risk than Dawson because Dawson never played under Moyes.Potter will clearly know what Webster is capable of. Adds to the home grown quota. Hopefully adds a bit of leadership.

They're roughly half the size of west ham.... And they are catching us, we could run the same but basically a tier up from what they do so that would have us fighting for top 6? And challenging in cups consistently.... That's alot better than what we currently do

@@SCoeSimRacing I think half the size is generous. They are well run but only have about twelve fans and need to hit a winner in the transfer market every season to survive. It's not a long term sustainable strategy.

The only thing I don't like about AWB playing as the right CB of the 3 is that from what I've seen, it means Cree plays RWB. I said it on a watch along and was proven right (James from E20 Zone mentioned it yesterday on the show he done with Irish Tommy); Summerville gets through way too much work load in that role. I said to James in the watch along, I bet he doesn't see the full 90 because of how much work load he is going through and he ended up not coming out for the second half and missing 2 and a half games after it. Still not convinced he's 100% ready for Villa either, but could be wrong. I think that RWB role is way too demanding for Summerville at the moment, People need to realise, Potter especially, that Cree hasn't actually played as much football as he should have this season because of Flopategui and when he has, you can tell he is still adjusting to the physical requirements of the PL, even at LW, which is a less physically taxing role.

This is a message for Jack Sullivan. Please enquire about Tolu Akodore of Genk. He is better than Brobbery. After that, enquire with Will Steele about Andy Diouf. I would only be bringing in Andy Diouf if Todibo is committed to the cause because the likeley hood is they would end up pals. They are the two I want, and a CB. Lets see if we can get Webster on a loan with an option/ obligation or even Diasi on loan.

Come on now. We’re not signing anyone, and to be perfectly frank We probably shouldn’t. I know it’s not exciting, but this is just one of those seasons where we can get away with being crap. We have such an overhaul to do in the summertime that I don’t think we should be wasting money right now just so that we can finish two positions higher. And in that vein, I think we should play Casey. We’re genuinely not playing for anything. We’re not getting relegated, we’re not getting into Europe. The one thing we could be playing for is to give our kids a little experience. So if not now, then when ?

If we could off-load that Sullivan chap, it would be good. Never even gets on the bench, we pay him a fortune, no starts, no goals, no assists. Can't pass, short or long, no skills snd is too small for the PL. And did I mention, TOO OLD. Really, I mean, what does he do for WHU football club. Never seen him kiss the badge, have we!?! Just takes the money and sits there warming a chair. 😅
