I applied for a PPP loan to save my business. It fit the criteria perfectly, but I was told that the PPP program had already run out of money. Because of the Covid lockdown, and no government assistance, I lost my business and my house, and my son had to delay college. These criminals should all receive the penalty that’s imposed on thieves in Caribbean and African countries.

Yes. That’s because there was no oversight and a ton of fraud. There was a guy that made up social security numbers and got hundreds of PPP loans. EIDL loans were just as bad. You got 10k right away. If you didn’t qualify you didn’t have to pay it back. So the money wasn’t there for the deserving.

In the spirit of fairness, it may be worthwhile to consider investigating Congressional members, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and others, who have received PPP loans despite their significant positions in government.

@TheAnthony ... Curious, did she (and others) make it public record they received this type of loan? How would I know she or anyone else received this type of loan... unless they told me?

@@FAITH2x4x7 PPP data is public record. You can search up who received PPP loans through the US Small Business Administration website.

There MUST be some bankers complicit in these crimes. I helped several small businesses apply for loans and all the applications had to go through a local bank. Subsequently, the businesses were required to supply the bank proof of where and how the money was spent. Documents like copies of state and federal payroll reports, unemployment reports and how many of the employees were still on payroll since the approval. Gotta be some bankers sweating somewhere.

It hurts me seeing people throwing away their good jobs. I wish I was smart enough to have such a job. These people take their blessings and toss it in the trash.

Yep. Many departments are short of these early retirement, great paying jobs so now they fire more for fraud. Very greedy employees.

I'm not sure of what universe you live in butt being a corrections officer or cop isn't a great paying job. If it were cops wouldn't have to work two jobs to live.
