I saw Boston perform this song live- at the risk of dating myself - and it has remained one of the favourite songs of my life. This is the first cover of this song that evokes the same feelings and memories I have of this song. My brother and I used to play this song: he on drums and me on guitar. He died tragically in 2020 so this song is particularly heart wretching for me, but you did it proud. I hope you realize that beyond doing a KZbin video - you touch people’s hearts and take them to a place they can never go again… except in their memories.
@LeftCoastBias445 жыл бұрын
Dear KZbin algorithm: It took 5 years for you to suggest I watch this vid??? Are you kidding me??? (Meanwhile...) Stunning cover you two. Brilliantly played. I remember exactly where I was driving the first time I heard this Boston track played on a SoCal FM station decades ago. I'll now always remember first viewing of this impeccable cover. Bravo, Jeff & Jenny... #subscribed (both of you) #liked #shared #amazed.

This is one of my favorite songs ever and you two covered it beautifully. Having been in a deep depression for some time, I let my music go. But when I saw Ms. Baker blow the dust off of her violin case, open it up and start tuning that lovely instrument, I cried like a baby. All is not lost for me - I still have my music - and nobody can take that away. So I just blew the dust off of my guitar case, tuned up that old Martin and started playing again. Thank you from my heart, and blessings to both of you.

It is w/the greatest of sadness that I find myself here due to the fact I just lost my little sister last week.i am here because I introduced her to your music and everytime she came over she had me play your music videos because she as I do get such joy from not just listening to your music but watching the accompanying videos.She so loved how expressive you are when you sing.The joy she saw on your face while you sing lit up her face and she was so touched by your voice and your arrangements "More Than A Feeling" became her favorite song these last few months and I have decided to play it in her memory at her funeral this Saturday.I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your music and how it has touched everyone that has ever heard you but expecially my little sister.Thank you so much for your music because it does really touch people in ways you probably. are not aware of.

Mike Masse Thank you so much for your words. I have been sitting here listening to your music.I have been a fan for about a year now and I couldn't begin to convey to you what your music especially 'More Than A Feeling' meant to my sister. My sister was disabled and endured alot of physical pain.Every Saturday I would bring her to my home w/other family and friends for BBQ etc... Her name was Vera Lee by the way. Every single time she came over the first thing she wanted to do was go to your site and or you tube and watch and listen to your videos. She so loved them Mike. When I played 'More Than A Feeling' she would smile and literally shed tears because it touched her so deeply and the wonderful playing of Jenny Oaks combined w/you became her favorite song hands down. I cannot thank you enough for the gift of your music that truly took her away from her pain everytime she listened to you. She asked me if I could download the music for her and I told her the next time she came over we would go to your website and she could pick and I would purchase any and all the Mike Masse songs she wanted . This was something I decided to do for the first time; that is using my credit card online because of fear of stories others have told me of having there accounts compromised ( and the fear did not extend to you) but hackers. My lord I didn't mean to ramble like this ....She passed away 2 days before she was to come over that day. I intend to support you and your music and I have turned dozens of family and friends on to your music. Once again I want to thank you so very much. .
