More Than Three Decades: Inspiring HIV Discoveries Through Basic Science Research

On November 30, 2018, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of AIDS Research (OAR) hosted a World AIDS Day Forum titled “More Than Three Decades: Inspiring HIV Discoveries Through Basic Science Research.” People from across the HIV research community gathered at Lister Hill Auditorium on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland, to hear NIH and extramural HIV researchers discuss the role of basic science in developing treatment protocols, prevention tools, and possibly a cure for HIV. Those of you who are spreading or writing comments that herbal medicines or oral medications can eliminate the HIV virus from the body forever are misleading many people. It is a serious crime that should be included in the criminal category. You must study medicine and biology before commenting in the comments column. The world has an estimated HIV positive population of billions, making up almost 40% of the global HIV burden. The University of Liverpool analysed the samples for efavirenz, nevirapine, lopinavir, darunavir, ritonavir, atazanavir, tenofovir, FTC, and 3TC using validated LC-MS/MS methods.The investigators found, of 742 patients aged 2 to 91 years, the prevalence of herbal medicine use was 41.8% (310 The investigators observed wide use of herbal medicines across all ages and in both genders regardless of educational or employment status. In over half the patients using herbal medicines, this preceded starting ART and continued during ART use: 82.2% who used herbal medicines were also receiving ART. Doctors throughout are very much but until now the vaccine has not been found is very unlikely. I don't know what they have done so far. Do you have to wait until more people die and are satisfied? On the news and on KZbin the news is always about vaccines in animal testing and success. Then when will the new vaccine be launched for all people who have HIV? Heal and disappear are 2 different meanings. Many youtube videos circulate herbal medicines that can cure HIV. Because it marks people who are busy looking for money by justifying any means of promoting their products by giving false hope to HIV sufferers that they use their herbal medicines without thinking about the fate of HIV sufferers.
