Chad it is your channel, your farm, your style, your pace and your dreams. No explanations or apologizes are needed. Monday morning quarterbacks are a dime a dozen. Love the honest, good and the bad openness of the channel. With that said a nice bridge with a sitting/fishing area would look great. With a gate to keep the critters from getting to the island. A nice fire pit and chairs or picnic table would make for great memories. Just a thought, could see you makin' Smores with the family.

Bradford pear trees are considered invasive in the SE. Their wood is also pretty brittle, so please don't park too near it lest branches fall and damage your ride.

Hearing about ni84 year old 'Helen' gives me hope. Being 71 widow, raised on a farm, getting back to digging in the dirt has given me more to wake up to 'responsibility. Over 20 chickens about 1/4 acre (including raised beds and 4 Greenstalks) garden. Canning is fun and rewarding to see end results.

You have such a positive outlook on life. You are raising 3 boys with God's love and appreciate your blessings. We built our home in the country 45 years ago. I just feel happy looking at our 20 acres of trees that were planted In 1880. Our 2 sons are now farming the land their great grandparents farmed. Of course they rent more land as more mouths are being fed now. Our grandsons mow our grass and help keep life good for us. At 73 I can look back at the years our family grew up and can see God's love reflected in your actions. Blessings to your family.
