In the UK they have changed the LAW on LED replacement bulbs - basically the reflectors weren't designed for LED and so often drivers in the opposite direction were getting dazzled (even when not on Hi-Beam) so now you have to have replace the whole light unit to deflect LED Lo-Hi to the spec. This is enforced at our annual MOT check - plus causes issues on your insurance. I bet US follows in years to come.

actually pressure treated will rot your trailer faster. when those boards get wet they leach down onto your metal and the chemicals they use to treat the wood is corrosive to the metal.
@KEVN389 ай бұрын
I did not know that. Thanks!
@Cobalt1359 ай бұрын
@@KEVN38 Most lumber manufacturers that use ACQ, CA, ACZA and CCA treatments specify stainless steel or heavily galvanized fasteners when working with pressure treated wood to hold up to the chemicals and provide a secure connection for the longest time possible. While you can find fasteners labeled suitable for pressure treated wood, utility trailers and the like are usually just powder coated or painted normal steel. But realistically it would take many years to degrade the trailer to be unsafe do to corrosion from the PT lumber. Non PT lumber and a coat of an oil based wood protector sprayed on with a cheap pump sprayer like you use for weeds or a deck every few years would be fine for most people.

Instead of using your back to lift tires and wheels when installing or removing, simply take a bar and put under the edge of the tire and lift the bar, which lifts the tire. It goes either behind or in front of the face of the tire, makes it so simple to adjust when removing or installing.
