Try seafoam, it cleans the gas, you can also use it in the oil. And use a ethanol balancer.

I seafoamed it not too long ago. That spark plug blew out the cylinder head and stripped the threads so it's pretty bad

I have a 70 vw bug and my delegates was the # 3 sparkplug had the same problem so I had a mecanic luck at the trets in the heads and put a helycoild the gat my bug goin

Normally you use 20W50 but okay..

+The Shop Life cool... I have a 73. And my car was running like that as well I cleaned the oil and gas lines with seafoam and got new plugs and wires, my spark plugs were shot. Something about the screw on plug wires was really loose and slightly fried. Once I got them replaced it ran sweet. And now that I have a new clutch it jams..good luck man...

10w40 ? Bro, you need to drain that out and use 20w50 with high zink content. Do some research bro

Yeah, heads blown. Going to get some better heads then stock though while I'm already buying new ones

yeah its a really common thing that happens with these cars. You will be better off in the end cause when you take the engine out to change them you can clean it all up and stuff (theres always loads of grime and Id bet there is tons of carbon on your pistons. Mine had like an 1/8th inch of it when I tore mine down) Plus it will be good content for you to film for your channel right? Been enjoying your videos keep your head up and pushing forward.
