Not really… Although, I agree that many African Americans remain stagnant because of race victim hood… it is very naive, reckless, & irresponsible to say that racism doesn’t exist. Racism not an American issue, it’s a world problem! For examples, I live an honest successful life, but I have traveled to many places where I been followed in shops because “they” assumed I will steal. Oprah went to a store to buy a purse,in a foreign country, and the attendant refused to show her an expensive purse because she thought she couldn’t afford it. Even Candace Owen sued a school for racial discrimination & was awarded $37,000 with the help of NAACP on her side. Racism STILL EXISTS!

I'm about to be honest. I'm a black man 45 years old married to a white woman. I think all black people need to be around white families and white families need to be around black people. If they did you could really see how things work and don't work. We raise our kids totally different it's things that can be learned from each other. Being around my wife dad who is an 80 year old white man. I've learned more from him in 3 years than I did in 18 years from my 80 year old mom who is black. Just to hear my wife talk about what they had to do and earn everything. She had to cut grass, paint , be a landlord and pay rent and her dad owned the apartment complex she was living in. We just teach our kids different things, most of the time black kids aren't being taught anything from parents we have to learn the hard way. We don't see people or be around people that have been married for almost 60 years. We don't know how to navigate life or be in relationships because we are learning as we go. Most white people leave their kids wills. Most black people leave their kids bills. I'm speaking in general for most and not all.

Why aren't more white people living in the projects or hoods? I'm trying to learn from the people that have more sense than looking for help all the time. All it takes is effort which we know most black people are too busy worried about what happened hundreds of years ago. It was more black people own homes in the 40s and 50s than it is now race has nothing to do with EFFORT. Black people are too busy trying to make their kids be the next Jordan or Barry Sanders. Both Jas and Anton are correct and I'm disappointed at every black person on this panel and in those comments for how ya'll treated her. If you don't know I'll charge it to your ignorance but if you do know you a whole coward.

Instead of pounce on the woman somebody should've been tryna meet her where she at instead of tear her down when both of them are actually correct. 2 things can be true at once.

It’s crazy that in 2024 with so much information at our fingertips, we’re still talking about what we can and can’t do based on how a small group of people think. Racism, Colorism, Sexism, Agism etc exist, how does that stop anyone from being the the best version of themselves…
