Today we cut up on some wood I was originally told was red oak. That turned out to be a bunch of not so pretty red maple and poplar. It was more work then worth to me, but we had fun with the 500i and the 044mag.
Thanks for watching folks.

Yeassssss on that 044. My main saw is a 440! That definitely looks like a lot of maple. With that new boiler you might have to get in the tote game. I know your central boiler prefers it dry, but it don’t care what the splits look like!!! Burn the junk and sell the beauty. I draw the line at punky though. I’ll cut the ugliest piece of wood in the yard for heat if it’s not punky. Good video Jack 👊

@@765Guys hmmm i got this old gal back in 2013 on an eBay auction. Came out of washinton state. Only thing I've had done to it was new I guess top end? Piston and cylinder, when I blew it up 4 or 5 years ago. Other than that it's still stock. 🤷‍♂️

How do you like those mesh safety glasses? I’ve been thinking about those because I’m tired of my regular safety glasses fogging up. But I’m not sure if they would mess with your eyes when looking through them. Does it seem like you’re looking through a chain-link fence?
