Dark Scorpion definitely needs a new line-up of thieves. I was thinking of names like Lili the Cat Burglar, Oliver the Pickpocket, Spot the Lookout Dog, and the link monster would be called Don Gero the Golden Toad (he'd be the black market dealer that the Dark Scorpions would be selling their ill-gotten gains to). I'd also imagine their new spells/traps telling a story of one of their heists, with one of the card artworks showing Chick being a squealer, showing us why he's called the Yellow. I'd also like to see Jackpot 7 be incorporated into the archetype, since I've always found that combo funny. I gave this too much thought.

I really hope we get a "Gigo" archetype that is just Gagagigo and retrains of his allies like Eria, Marauding Captain, and maybe even Kozaky as Lizard people with similar but different names. I would want it to Support non-effect monsters in a way to keep the Original Gagagigos as part of the archetype while also being Xyz focused, (Maybe the effect monsters give effects while attached to Reptile Xyz monsters like Gagagigo the Risen??)

An archetype I want to see get supported is umbral horror. They where literally the archetype used by the primary antagonist of Zexals second half but get no love whatsoever. But as it stands, not only are they nearly unplayable, but they also lack an archetypal boss monster.

Absolutely agree. Battlin' Boxer, Tachyon, and Shark have gotten modern support in the past couple years. But no love for the other Barians. Maybe they could adapt Ray's Shining cards into Umbral Horror Support?

Problem with zexal is the decks don't really have a playstyle, it's all about going xyz as fast as posible, compare that with arc v and there's a massived difference

@@neonthunder3261 i don't know. It was a blur by the end of it. The spells Shrink and Riryoku were a big help. And I used a lot of monster removal. Summoner Monk was a big help to go into extra deck plays. It's a fun deck though.

I would love the Tsu archetype, maybe aka the Parodius archetype. Aside from the paper airplanes they ride, they could have a bunch of support just as Gradius did with the Big Cores and such. Make them a fusion/link/whatever monster called Minnaitsu. And hey, Konami, where’s my damn Silent Hill Archetype?

I would like new support for magical musket archetype. Maybe a field spell based on the plays final act that works as a ties of the brethren effect for magical muskets. Also a link 2 or effect lv 4 of the love interest of the play that gives protection from destruction and targeting effects when either discarded or summoned until the end of your opponents next turn. Maybe the second effect can be to shuffle back up to 7 magical musket spells, traps, and monsters then draw 2 cards make it a non once per turn but you have to banish her as a cost.

An archetype that I wish to get more support would be Venoms, give them a continuous spell that can negate the effects of monsters with X amount of venom counters and allow it to remove venom counters to be able to special out Vennomina from the deck

Aquaactress, I explained this one last time. Vehicroid, More modern support for an archetype with no defined playstyle, outside of fusion summoning Cyber Girl (not angel), another GX archetype with no defined playstyle. Some of them like direct attacks, but others destroy stuff. Maybe some Fairy-Type cards that connect them to the Cyber Angels? Cyber Tutubon was an okay start, but it reads more like a Cyber Angel card than anything. Butterspy, They need some sort of extender and a better Boss monster. Cupid, They want to modulate levels for Synchro stuff, but the cards within the archetype play more like an engine. Rescue (rabbit, etc.), perhaps some universal targets for all five of it's members? Inpachi. I just want to see this happen. They have no actual strategy since they are vanillas.

There's definitely a few archetypes that won't see the light of modern support, but discussions are always a great way of hypothesising what could be. While I can see some being more preferred than others, I think the archetype that stands out the most to me is Reactor. It'd probably feature cards that can either be substituted for SKY FIRE, or an effect akin to Gullveig or Alviss for Nordics. The archetype is pretty small as well, to the point the only targets for Dark Flattop outside of the intended monsters, are Reactor Slime and Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon. Heraldic Beast, Water Dragon, Chemicritter, Iron Chain, Venom, Cloudian and Gorgonic come to mind as well. At least, in terms of me wanting support for them, especially with the chemical based archetypes. However, I'd be happy with any forgotten archetype getting a few cards, whether that's Guardians with an errata/retrain to Butterfly Dagger - Elma, Materiactor finally getting more than 2 cards, or seeing more Zera cards. The only issue with Zera being the established paths he can take and whether to combine them or make something new from them. I would say Archlords as well, but that'd likely make Kristya searchable: probably a bad idea.

I was going to say Venoms, because I love them, and I for once want people to cry about Snake Rain. But if we're going for the bottom of the bottom, I'd want either a Mokey Mokey expanded archetype, or know what the hell happened to all the other Jinzos. We have Jinzo #7 right? Well, then where's the rest of them? Probably working for the minimum wage in the Factory of 1000 machines. Does that mean there are 1000 Jinzos? They made worms for the alphabet, now let's print Jinzos until the game breaks and System Down becomes a permanent Side Deck staple fearing what the heck the next Jinzo is going to do.

I kinda wanna see some more Mist Valley cards actually, they have one of the most powerful omni negates in the game if they setup Bird and Thunderbird combo and I really like the idea of having an archtype that´s based around self bouncing, also they can technically recycle Nibirous so there´s that aswell. Problem is almost all their cards including their boss monster are basically just gain atk effects and nothing besides it.

i'd like for Skull Servants to get more support. specifically some spell/trap support. and maybe some cards that make alternate use of the number of Skulls in the Grave. The King getting bigger is fine and all. but what if we could turn those Skulls in the grave into negations, draws, or effect damage? another idea: Zombie support. specifically Bonz' zombies from DM. turn Pumpking and Castle of Dark Illusions into Pendulum monsters. make a Call of the Haunted retrain that works the way it did in the anime. retrains of Armored, Clown, and Dragon Zombie. maybe even a fusion therof.

If you want to get really technical the "itsu" monsters could be considered part of the Gradius archetype since they're from the Gradius spinoff series Parodius. They could add more characters from that for the support. Also not to be a "well actually" guy but I believe those are paper airplanes not kites.

About that Old Union, this is my idea.... ____ Preparation of the Combination [Quick Play] Special Summon 1 Union Monster from your deck, then apply 1 of these effects. ● Add 1 card that mentions it from your Deck or GY to your hand. ● Add 1 card from your Deck or GY to your hand whose name is listed on that Union monster. ● Special Summon 1 monsters that mention it from your Deck or GY. ● Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck or GY whose name is listed on that Union monster. While that Union monster is in your Monster Zone, you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "Preparation of the Combination" per turn.

For old archetype support for the most part I believe you need restrains that protect some fantasy of what the card was supposed to do... or turbo charge the old effects. Like have the gadgets get support similar to floo so you can "normal summon" them one after another... or plug them in from the hand to some construct

Everyone forgets about Majestic Mech. Personally, I’d love to see Infernal Flame become its own archetype in a rework of the old school Blaze of Destruction structure deck. Maybe focus on quick effect Tribute Summoning, burn, and banishing effects

I feel like the Gizmeks need something. There are cool looking monsters that seem to be having a control theme, like Kaku destroying monsters in the EMZ or stopping the effect of monsters that don't have equal attack and defense. They need something to connect the low levels and high levels into an actual strategy.

I like the way you think. Me? I've been trying to come up with non-archetype cards that could bring old cards into the modern era. One of my favorites possibly even turning Shaddolls or Darkworlds (inspiration for the name) for example into Rogue, however, it would modernize a lot of old cards. Granted, we'd have to ban the jar cards again, but... Mirrored World of Dark Shaddows Field Spell Card The activation of this card cannot be negated by a card in the hand. When activated, pay 1,000 LP and choose one of the following effects: While this card is on the field, all flip effects of monsters for both players are treated as on summon effects. You can only activate the flip effect of any specifically named monster once per turn. While this card is on the field, every time a card is sent to either GY, even for cost, it also counts as discarded and vice versa. This card cannot be destroyed by targeted effects. Once per turn, when this card would be destroyed, banished, or returned to the hand or deck by your opponent’s non-targeting effect, you can send one monster from your deck to the GY instead.

Here's one I thought of: Plaguebelcher Zombie DARK Level 2 Zombie/Tuner/Effect This card's name becomes "Plaguespreader Zombie" on the field or in the GY. If this card on the field is used as Synchro material for a Synchro Summon of a monster that lists "Plaguespreader Zombie" as material, the other materials are non-Tuner monsters in your GY. Mist valley is an archetype I been hoping get support. Avain, falcon, thunder lord and divine are fun cards to use, but most of those have been better in other decks then themselves. Just make it xenophobic si apex being played in other stuff isn't as much of a worry if that's an issue.

Darkscorpions are theives, so how bout a continous spell that allows you to steal the card sent to the GY by their effects, but give the opponent a chance to save their card by letting you draw a card instead. But if the card isnt a dark scorpion card, its sent to the GY. Symbolising either a successful heist, or the plan falling appart. You can even make a card that searches any Dark Scorpion card, and buff them, that doesnt have Dark Scorpion in its name. So if its milled by the first card, its a even greater loss. But give it a cost to return to the hand. The deck can even be fleshed out with them having verions of older cards that feature a item, like de-spell/7 tools, smoke bomb, lucky iron axe, or grave digger ghouls shovel. All being items that they stole.

Dark scorpion is cool. I have chick the yellow a hybrid with it and Joey's legendary heroes fusion thing. Hazy flames are fun I gave them to sid, the guy who hangs with bonz. Those uclur trio is meh. More Legos would be okay. Itsu I just tried to build a deck. It sucks but I gave it to a child npc so it's understandable.

I want more Doriado! She gets a new card once every once in a while and has very loose synergy with attribute control (like with the modern Charmer deck), but even then she takes a seat in the back of meme side decks at best. I feel like there's untapped potential in attribute control that the current Doriado cards kind of touch on, but don't fully explore.

●Honestly, the "Dark Scorpions", "Chthonians" and "Dark Armed Dragon" could just meld to create a new Arcetype. ●"Hazy Flame" is supposed to work as a Toolbox Arcetype for Fire XYZ Deck that can swarm Mid-levels. ● The "Block" could turn everything on its head and make the Link Monsters only summonable using only "Block Tokens" ● The "Culars" were supposed to just be some forgettable Toolbox tech support for Yusei's Plot Armor, theres simply nothing that the "Culars" can do that other Arcetypes can't do better. ● Like hell, those "Idiotsu" should or will ever get an Arcetype.

I personally really want more number Xyz support. . . Like. . . REALLY want more Xyz number support. I absolutely love the theme of number monsters but it feels like the support we get for them these days aren't of the number Xyz archetype as a whole and instead just the more popular ones like shark or gimmick etc. imo those archetypes are sub archetypes to the number archetype as a whole. I don't want sub arch type support, i want MAIN archetype support of just generic number monsters. There are so many number monsters which are so cool but never see any play and probably never will because all the support we get goes to the sub archetype instead of the overall number archetype as a whole.
