Pendulum are nerfed so hard when they restrict pendulum summoning to the zone the link monster arrow point to. Modern Yugioh, there's so many 1 card combo and you can special summon even more times than Pendulum summoning, It's only casuals that don't play the game is complaining about it. And Pendulum is a mechanic that is unique on its own and can rarely be used with other summonings

The odd-eyes performapal deck was really strong and versatile. Especially the archetypes that were printed in the anime but in real life were generally trash and with the change of master rule 4, it didn't really get a very good deck. And all the support cards it got always had effects like search, but there were enough of them. When we count the other counterparts cards, it was even stronger and had a lot of variety. But as always, its own archetype was left free in a trashy way that would work as seen in the anime and manga. At the points where Pepe once took over the game, this archetype was not just odd-eyes performapal, on the contrary, it became corrupted by mixing many of its decks with other cards. Pendulums bring the other cards out faster, which is the whole point of the mechanic. You get to swarm with tribute monsters and the rest, making some of the oldest cards viable. The ire against them is ludicrous, all from the same people that swarm the field more than a pend summon would. I love it because I get to play at contemporary speed, while I also get great effects in all three rows, reusable tuners and nontuners and link fodder and walls, and they also can become xyz material working with the XMZ and the front row. I have made some hate dino pends and Evil Aether.

You really didn't mentioned the fact that all thouse Gimmick decks that revolve around summon a Floodgate monster to the opponent field are drooling for illegal summon to be printed XD, just imagine playing any of the barrier statues on your deck as some kind of "Illegal Summon" counter that would be a funny format to see XD

I think you somehow kept forgetting that Plasma has an effect which equips cards to it, and that is what you are meant to destroy with the card effects, which then frees you to use Plasma's effect again.

Stein cards are... well... pretty lame, i was hoping something like Linear Equation canon for him but when i saw that episode i literally felt scammed, Brain dragon should had an effect more complicated than just... draw a card with extra steps: "If you draw 1 or more card(s) you can (Quick Effect): Reveal thouse cards to your opponent, shuffle thouse cards back to your deck; Draw cards equal to the difference between the amount of cards on your field and your opponent field minus the difference between the amount of cards on your opponent's hand and the amount of cards on your hand, if you do so and the number of cards on both players hand is the same, destroy all cards your opponent controls , then shuffle back to your deck from your hand a total of cards equal to the number of cards you drew this way minus 1. You can only use this Effect of "Brain Dragon" once per turn" It would be hell of fun seeing each player activating cards to reduce or increase the amount of cards on their fields and hands trying to avoid or achieve the result they want on the Equation to protect their cards or wipe the opponent field, and you can use trap cards like "Jar of avarice" to use this effect during the Opponent turn as some kind of Interruption

Draw Paradox doesn't stop the opponent from their first draw, according to the ruling you cannot activate cards on the Draw Phase until they do their first draw... so you have to wait 3 whole turns to being able to use this card properly

5:08 I would say the most infamous card to exist was Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of the End. Maxx C may have pissed everyone off to no end and Gorz changed how we approached the battle phase but CED is the reason the banlist exists. We wouldn't have banned cards if it weren't for CED.
