we cannot continue de Jong slander. he was great this game and actually showed control of the game. he was quite defensively solid for the most part despite having a few defensive errors. he actually won the most tackles, won the most duels, and had the most passes (93) in the game. great performance by him we just hope to see him continue this until we can properly praise him

Flick was the Manager I felt was the manager we needed back when we had Koeman and Xavi. Flick was my number one pick it just happened he was unavailable at the time. However, what he brought is exactly what we needed. We needed a drill sergeant who would whoop these youngsters in shape. Barca was stuck in the old Tiki Taka way of having a bunch of skinny players with no physicality passing the ball around. This era of football you need to be fast, strong AND technical. Flick is making the players work out more and having them press for the whole match. That's what we needed possession with aggressive press.

This is my thing. To me flick is a top manager because he getting the most out of the players available because let's be real outside of olmo all of the team is the same roster xavi had. Granted great players fit anywhere but it takes a good Coach to make the players fit to him not the other way around. And to do this with the financial issues there is a testament to him but the team needs more depth especially for the style flick likes to play
