One thing to keep in mind is 99% of drinks from the US are designed to be cold when consumed. No ice needed just put them in the fridge over night. Root Beer has no alcohol in it. Storytime for Adam: (I'm white, which will be important to know for this story) I was living in a remote village in West Africa. Think dirt road in the jungle. No water, no electricity, no plumbing, nothing. One day, I was greeting some villagers. One woman had her three year old son with her. I looked down and said hello. The kid instantly burst into tears and hid behind his mother. He was inconsolable. He said something in their local language which I hadn't learned yet. Everyone busted out laughing. The mom looked at me and said, "He thinks you're a ghost!" I was the first white person he had ever seen. No one could ever convince him I wasn't a ghost haunting the village.

Not only are Takis a great post-grocery-shopping snack, but if you crush them up, they're fantastic for punching up a meatloaf. Them, a pound (about half a kilo) of ground beef, some normal bread crumbs or crushed-up crackers, salt, pepper, a little minced onion, some garlic powder, and a packet of beef/brown gravy mix. Mix together thoroughly along with an egg as a binder. Pop it into the oven at 325F (about 160C) for about 30 minutes, then pull out, cover in your choice of BBQ sauce or ketchup, pop back into the oven at 375F (190C) for another 20 minutes. Check the middle with a thermometer to make sure it's cooked through. But by then it should have a nice, crispy crust to it from the juices baking out and then crisping up on the outside. Ideally, serve it with mashed potatoes and a salad. Whatever's left over, you can slice it up cold out of the fridge, then fry it up in a pan the next day for fried meatloaf sandwiches. Melt a little Swiss cheese over it when's it's finishing up in the pan, slap it on some bread along with a little mustard and ketchup. Maybe some tomato, lettuce.

Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park are 2 of the most beautiful places in the country, and I will die on that hill. Outside of the city of Bozeman you can enter Yellowstone and outside of the city of Kalispell you can enter Glacer. They're quite a long way from eachother, so you'd have to dedicate a day to drive to the other city just to go to the other park. And get your park passes in advance. Don't expect to just show up and get into the park that day because the lines will be way too long. But, besides the parks, Kalispell and Bozeman are great towns, too, with some great food. There's a reason Montana is called the Big Sky. Also, I gotta add, I know people from Ireland and England pride themselves on their drinking ability, but Montanans are nuts. Most of us (especially those of us in the eastern side) have NOTHING to do outside of work or school, so we're big drinkers. Don't expect to go to a bar and think you can pick any guy in there to go beer-for-beer with and win

Mom is from Tucson, Arizona and Daddy is from the Lone Star State, Texas, yee-haw! Pop was in the US Air Force and stationed in Tucson where he met my mom. We moved back and and forth between Arizona and Oregon, both states are completely different, especially in climates. I love the Pacific coastland and forests, but I also love the beautiful Sonoran desert here in the southwest. I went to college in Tucson and Phoenix and have worked as a medical laboratory scientist for 30 years. I love your channel, Adam. Little bit about me Adam, I'm a tower climber in Northern Colorado here in the US. I was Infantry in the US Army for a short time and tower climbing is my passion now. Climbing hundreds of feet to set up fixed wireless radios to the rural parts of our state. Giant chunks of western US are still just mountains and woods. A few of our towers require Helicopter transport to get to or snow cat ATVs to climb the mountains. Love the views from my "office" 1000ft up. Cheers brother and glad to see you like some of the best snacks lol. Quick edit, just got my Cert last week to train other Tower climbers and am excited for where the career goes from here. All the talk about "ROOT BEER" ! It is possible to make home made root beer from peeled away the skin then shaved thin and boiled in fresh water till water dark brown first skim off foam then pour brown water thru cheesecloth then add white melted cane sugar to taste! pour into clear half gallon jars with screw on lids and refrigerate for 24 hours before drinking any of this root beer made from freshly dug up sassafras roots! My friend made in four giant floor cauldrons made of steel with warmers beneath them! He had them in a store room behind a bar! He would make a total of 75 half gallons every couple or three days!

The flavor in root beer you can't put your finger on is Sassafras. The Sassafras tree is native to the Eastern US; Native Americans made a tea from the root bark as a "Spring tonic" (which is where the settlers got the idea for the brewed beverage that became root beer) but had many uses both medicinal and culinary.

Not sure if you'll see this but oh well. I'm 21 years old and from Ontario Canada. Grew up playing "American Football" but its actually Canadian football. Not much different from the sport they play in the states. That's how i found your channel. Your reactions to watching people get smoked is hilarious. Yes sometimes you get hit like that. Yes it hurts. You're so pumped full of adrenalin that you get back up and realize the next morning how bad that hit actually was. Joined the army reserves at 16 to see if i liked that lifestyle and profession. Ended up changing my mind after 2 years of service. Graduated high school, took a couple years off to work full time and figure out what i wanted out of life. Decided i like working outside with my hands. That led me to a powerline(Electric overhead power) school in southern Ontario. I believe this was the best decision I've ever made. The first week we climbed the 50ft poles i fell in love with it. Currently on break until year 2 in September. Finally if you were to visit north America, there are thousands of beautiful places in the USA, however in Canada I'd recommend you visit either Alberta or British Columbia. Both provinces are near the Rocky Mountains and the most beautiful sites Canada has to offer. All the best, Root beer never has alcohol:)

I was miserable in my last marriage and saw no reason to stay. I finally got a divorce and met the wonderful man I am with now. He shows me what it is like to be loved. I could not have told anyone that this is where I would be now. I lost a baby in 2018 at 7 months. He was born sleeping. I had a rough childhood and thought that my life would forever be with people talking down to me. I had become a person that was awful but love genuinely helped me become a better person

Root beer is an interesting drink. It originated as a medicinal drink called Sarsaparilla that was served warm and called a "root tea" despite versions having soda added to them by the 1850s. It wasn't until a guy called Charles Elmer Hires put together his own recipe in the 1870s and found the "Root Tea" name didn't sell to the local miners that he changed the name to root beer and changed American history. It often contained alcohol but could be easily served without which was a great benefit when the Prohibition Era began and alcohol was made illegal. And while people made tons of illegal alcohol to quench their thirsts, breweries were left with no choice but to pivot to soft drinks like soda jerks in pharmacies made. Root beer could sell freely while calling itself beer, because it wasn't. This period is the reason why soda became a facet of American life and why we may never kick the soda habit.

Hello Adam, from West Virginia USA. My state is known for its mystery. The Appalachian (App-uh-latch-in) mountains are 1 of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth being around 500 million years old & WV is entirely encompassed in them. We got a lot of spooky shit here. My town is home to the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum which closed in the early 90s. On top of being 1 of the most haunted places in America it's also the 2nd largest hand-cut stone buildings in the world (The Kremlin being 1st.) We also got a lot of cryptids the most famous being the Mothman, the Flatwoods Phantom & the Grafton horror. One of my favorite things to do is sit on my porch at night listening to peepers (frogs) & drinking beer. That being said, there are woods behind my home. 1 of the rules around here are "If you hear a voice coming from the woods, no you didn't." That usually means it's time to go inside. Sometimes you also see ghost lights, floating balls of light in the woods. MYth is those are the lanterns & flashlights of people who went into the woods at night & never came back. I have stories from the asylum from my mom who worked there & the spooky shit I've seen on Loveberry Ridge (Which is more even haunted IMO.) Hit me up if you want to hear some sometime.

The intro got me. Most root beer is non-alcoholic, but you can get hard versions. Liquid Death is hilarious, because the company that started it was like "Why not put it in a can instead of a bottle?" so that's what they did. They put plain water in a can. Of course there's flavors now. It's called "Liquid Death" to get younger people to drink it instead of energy drinks. Twinkies, I miss them from the 90's. When they discontinued them and then brought them back, it was a different recipe. Or at least they just don't taste the same. You gotta get Little Debby Swiss Rolls man. The chocolate rolls with the cream. Oh hell yes. Totally did NOT grow up on them. Nope, not me. When you said Fuego I was just like, "You know that means "fire" right?" and I was also like "Adam bout to find out the hard way." I knew the Sour Patch Kids weren't gonna be too bad. because I LOVE THEM! Especially the Watermelon bag. I dissolve them in water and just drink the flavor, then chew on the clear gummies for forever. But Warheads, yeah I remember them from my childhood and they used to be nuclear. Pepperidge Farm Milano are the best kind. Oh I miss Nerds, they were good. What do I do? Eh, I'm a paranormal investigator... ... ... and I know how you feel about em from your earlier "scariest videos" that you used to do. LOL.

Root beer is not generally alcoholic it's not intended to be but you can get alcoholic versions. It gets its name from the ingredients. One of the main ingredients is the root of the sassafras tree. But it also contains a bunch of other stuff like vanilla etc.
@SuperDrocket6 ай бұрын
Just a minor correction: traditionally sassafras root was the main flavoring of root beer, but it wound up being fairly carcinogenic. There are a few specialty root beer brands that still use actual sassafras (processed to remove the carcinogenic part), but the vast majority of brands use artificial flavoring.
@annep.19056 ай бұрын

This rim is approximately 125 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. *Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park. It is in California. This is 5 and a half hours from Las Vegas by car. In October, I recommend seeing our beautiful mountains and fall colors through a train ride. The trees turn a beautiful yellow, orange and red. Some scenic train excursions can be found with.... * Smoky Mountain Railway in Bryson City, North Carolina * Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in Blue Ridge, Georgia *Tennessee Valley Railroad scenic ride in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Left for the US Marines in 2005, 7 days after graduating high school. I was infantry for 13 years before being medically discharged for falling down a mountain. I have combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. I have 2 sons, both born while I was a Marine. Currently one is 17 and the other is 13. Last year, almost to the date, my 13yo was in a motorcycle accident and almost died. He was in the hospital for damn near a month and was in a forced coma for a little over a week. Shortly after that my wife was diagnosed with cancer so I haven't been working. I'm 100% disabled so the VA pay takes away a lot of stress from bills. Currently I just take care of my wife and go to the gym whenever avaliable, still 4x a week minimum. When the cancer thing 8s over, I have work lined up for me as law enforcement but it's strictly on military bases. When I was a kid I always wanted to be military or law enforcement. I'd do normal law enforcement but I have severe PTSD and I'm more comfortable on base than anywhere public. That's the about me I guess. Nobody fancy.

8:18 Your story about the scooter reminded me of my younger days. I am 42 now but through my teenage and young adult life I did a lot of BMX and Skateboarding. As a teenager though, add being a little stunt man to that list! Where we lived the neighborhood was a slope, a steep one. One of the roads was a steep hill that had a dead end at the end of the road - literally end of the road. There was this soft sand, a wooden fence and a wide open green field behind it. I use to ride my bike down that hill as fast as I could! Half way down I would stand up on the bike with one foot on the seat, the other on the center bar, slam right into the dead end for no other purpose than to launch myself forward over the sand, over the wooden fence and land tumbling into the field! A very slow walk back up a steep hill only to do it all over again.

I'm from the piedmont of North Carolina. I'm 56. My dad was born and raised in the mountains of Tennessee. The mountains are called the Appalachian Mountains (pronounced App-pa-la-chun). When the settlers came over a lot of Irish and Scottish went to the mountains because it reminded them of home. The mountain range is from Newfoundland, Canada to northeastern Alabama, United States. The part that goes through Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennesse is known as the Blue Ridge Mountains and Smoky Mountains. They have a blue look to them a lot and look smoky. It made me smile when I heard the way you pronounce "sour", it's the same way people in the mountains do. Ought to check out the video about the way people talk in the mountains, it's called "Mountain Talk". Most are just simple living, kind people but very private, especially up in the "hollers" away from towns.

Enter two poor girls who were on the bow of the ferry and got soaked through by a cold sea. They asked the bartender if there was a laundromat where they could dry their clothes. He said they could use his dryer to dry out their clothes, and got them some blankets to keep warm in the meantime, no charge.

When I saw my guy with the Kool Aid packet, “Oh No” and it went exactly how it always goes with the nons. Great video, Adam. In my opinion, the best spin on trying American candy videos. Can’t wait for what you have up next.

Root Beer is NOT an alcoholic beverage LOL. It's just root beer. And if you put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a glass and pour that root beer over the top of it, that's a root beer float! Yum!!!!!! I'm a 69 year old woman, retired but I used to work as a secretary for an attorney. I absolutely love watching your reactions! Thank you for brightening my day!

LMFAO he didnt add suger to the kool-aid! XD your killing me man! thats so fucking funny!! and the reaction to the takis was PRICELESS actually had me in tears. love your channel so much. seeing as you asked i guess i coudl tell you a bit about myself. My name is Domonic, ( yes i know thats not normal spelling, my mom wanted it to be weird.) I live in Newport, New Hampshire. love it here lots of great people, good food and basically anything i want is a walk away. the views are amazing and although the winters are usually rough, the rest of the year is so nice. Plus we get a max of one tornado per year, so that's one less worry for you, lol. growing up i had a job at McDonald's. sometimes id help my step dad with his landscaping business. even went out to do work for our landlord at the time. my mom and step dad moved from newport and took me and my brother to Bradford, NH. ( basiclly becasue of the towns schooling being pretty bad) so i moved into Kearsarge middle school and stayed ther till i was 18 when i was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. after all of that i moved out and was taken in by my grandparents till i got my own apartment. at this point i was tired of McD's so i got a job at Shaws (a grocery store) where i worked at produce. If you ever find yourself here i recommend you check out a pub called - and im NOT joking - "the Irish Pub" its a great place full of amazing people, food and they even have live music on the weekends ( pretty sure they count friday nights) best of all, at least, to me. Is the food you get is really cheap. not like, gross , i mean really inexpensive. seriously you gotta try there food. if i happen to meet you there ill buy you a drink!

8:25 Most of my life, so far, I sat in front of the tv watching KZbin and playin games, but a couple of years ago I fell in love with wildlife photography and learning about every living thing I can find in my state. Now I drive anywhere from 100 - 600 miles a week looking for cool places to hike and animals to find.

That's so cool that you use technology turned to nature. The natural world offers so much. ❤

9:03 I would absolutely recommend visiting the Great Smoky mountain national Park, awesome trails and it's on both sides of the Tennessee/North Carolina border. Also recommend the nearby Blue ridge parkway and Mount Mitchell. Maybe then hop down to Hendersonville or Asheville. Lots of great restaurants, breweries, you name it. That's a good 8 hours north of where you'll be in Florida probably. As for when you're out west in Vegas, I recommend Flagstaff, Arizona and that overall area. Also recommend Utah, look into national Parks and whatever else there is. So much there

I'm a city bus driver. It gives me an interesting perspective into the homeless community. I live in Amarillo, Texas. We have the Big Texan Steak Ranch, and the Palo Duro Canyon, which is far cheaper than going to the Grand Canyon, but still having wonderful views.

I live in Tennessee close to the Smokey Mountains. I drove a truck for 20 years until my co driver and spouse passed away of covid. Now I’m disabled and my life sucks. I spend my days watching KZbin and sports. I have a hard time getting around. But I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your beautiful accent. You’re a breath of fresh air. I just wished my Chris would have gotten to see your videos. We wanted to visit Ireland for our 25 anniversary. We made it just short of 20 years. He passed three days before my 51st birthday.

Believe it or not I take long pine needles and weave baskets with them. It takes a long time but I love it.

Ive been in Texas for a couple of years, but I've spent more time in several other places. I'm 62, and disabled with a brutal neuromuscular disorder. My childhood was lived on an iowa farm. I had chickens which were mine to care for, and collect the eggs. As a small girl, I felt constant need to prove myself strong and capable. I loved climbing trees, exploring our property, and experiencing interactions with wildlife. I once raised a monarch from freshly hatched caterpillar to gorgeous butterfly. I understood my responsibility to turn it loose to migrate, but it was a tearful experience. Still, I felt pride as I watched it flutter away to find its own food. I caught a harmless garter snake, and kept it until my mom had fits and insisted it go. When i was seven, i taught myself how to walk across the top of my swingset, like a narrow, wobbly balance beam. As I emerged my teen years, i joined the Navy. My full four year hitch was shore duty, but i was under way most days teaching midshipmen various functions. Over the years i have been a lab tech for department of transportation, taxi driver, cake decorator, factory worker, and more. I have lived in Des Moines, Baltimore, Annapolis, San Jose, rural Missouri, and i could keep going. I am currently in a nursing home, because a car fractured my hip, and my battle with SPS is complicating recovery. I love the outdoors, and this imprisonment is torture for me. I don't drink. I have a yearning for learning, and know all sorts of information scraps. If i could have pets of my choice, it would include praying mantis, cuttlefish, octupus, and capuchin monkey, which could be trained to dart about and fetch things out of my reach. I love to write, as can be seen here. I have several novels and shorts in the works. Eventually I will be publishing on the venue Smashwords.com. it is like KZbin for writers. On my bucket list are the activities of touching a manta ray, swimming with a whale shark, and mining for opals at the Royal Peacock mine because it would be a place i could sit above ground and chip away for opals. This is the first video I've seen of you, and I enjoyed it a lot. 😊

Best video you've done, Adam! Since I like real videos like this and your house tour was great! I'm not too much into react videos. But you should def do more like these and of where you live like you said driving around etc. Also cool aid is tasteless unless you pour in a sh*t ton of sugar mix it then drink it lol
