The change is noticeable from the clip at 4:50 to the next clip at 5:00. Love his vocals 18:10
@jessicaoakes61732 жыл бұрын
The most notable change in his voice was in 1995 when his voice actually changed. In the clip you are talking about there being a noticeable difference they used a different setting on the microphone to change his voice a little. Artists do this a lot to make their voices deeper or higher to match whatever song they are singing.

Omg. Memory lane. I remember why I had the biggest 90s/early 2000s crush on this boy. He has a good voice, always did, but sometimes he strained it, sang too hard or just attempted to do things that weren't in his bag. I tell people who doubt him, Nick can really sing when he wants to. As he gets older I've noticed him being more cognizant of his sound and not trying to force notes or sing too hard anymore. Was always a fan of his potential and of the shining moments when he showed it to me. Once a BSB fan, always a fan. I see them every time they come close to where I am. I've seen them in concert 9 times and have so much rare footage of them from the 90s it's insane.

3:40 - this is when all the music executives got all the pop stars to start singing all whiney like baby like. Britney Spears, Nick Carter, amongst the group of pop stars to have had their vocal style deliveries adjusted to the pop candy industry. That “I’m innocent.. but I’m very sexy” type voice.

Nick Carter is my favorite voice of all types of music and all time. My favorite performance he has done is his solo song (do I have to cry for you) that song is soft emotional and it rocks and from TMS (it's my life). I have 9 BSB CDs

@@macyrenee9488 I think the only reason that solo CD didn't make it that far was because everyone wanted Nick to stay a Backstreet boy ♥️

Back in a day that you only hearing nothing but rock music. BSB came to music world, 5 fresh, tidy, good looking faces. Not singing hard rock music, but doing the opposite. That was so damn brave act of them to break the rock genre a bit. 30 years later, they’re still here. #BSB30 #myEra #memorylane

This popped up in my feed and I’m like “I like bsb why not?” It’s plain to see that even as a kid that Nick was a gifted singer, and he always puts everything into it. If I could sing like that I’d be doing something different for a living, I’ll never apologize for being a BSB or Nick fan.

It was kind of painful to watch him sing through that vocal damage in the early 2000s (probably from touring like mad trying to make the raspy sound with poor technique). Thankfully he had a chance to regain his voice. And when he came back he was using a much healthier technique. Definitely he did great on the Masked Singer
@Izaan2810 Жыл бұрын
Yeah he was BAD around 2000s time period, I agree, add his drug addictions alongside those exhausting schedules, House Of Carters, and obviously poor technique, we have gotten a recipe for disaster. And it's sad that these are the times most 90s people remember him for when it comes to singing. Cause MY GOD, he MASSIVELY improved in like last decade and so.
