43:00 the reason the bot stacked next to your capital is because you had a ton of troops there. They try to match the troops of the nearby territories, I would have moved my troops over to Venus and left about 5 or so next to it, the bot should mostly move through the 1 on your capital an keep moving onto the sun. Then you can retake the capital the following turn.

@@bluemaster75 blizzard are random lol, i once played a game where someone got a +17 for a 1 point hold, and it was fixed cards..... He won And i once played this map, all 5 blizzards were in the sun next to each other, they only reduced the sun's hold by 1, they were useless

Orange had real issues with trapping their stacks. It helped early to deter attacks early game. People saw he was not building up on the border. While the deep stacks would counter any Invasion. Thus making them unwilling to break orange. But by 1v1 times it proved a critical shortcoming.

Blue either got really lucky or he just is naturally good at positioning himself to not be seen as a threat. Also white just watched the capital race and said nothing, He knew it was over when blue attacked him but stuck it out.

Hey CG, From what I remember bots have no idea what capitols are, they treat it like a regular territory, except for attacking them as they take the win chance into account. Having a bot cap near you in the beginning is an easy way to get a second capital.

Orange just got overwhelmed. The way they were playing almost certainly means that, like blue, he was a novice who just got really, really lucky. He just didn't know how to deploy all the troops he could have gotten fast enough, and still made all the attacks he needed to in order to secure his advantage. So he dropped. Really, CG just blundered because he thought he was playing with experienced players, and made tactical decisions thinking his opponents knew what they were doing. He could have DOMINATED this game if he knew that he was in a noob lobby.

@@GeneGear Same with White. If white didn't twiddle their thumbs through the early and mid game, they easily could have won. But their Turtling to build up the power of themselves, led to the others also building up power, coming up with traps and strategies, and ultimately their lack of action early game became their eventual downfall.

I remember when I was a complete noob, I didn't realise it was important to stack on caps and I got caprun by a player who has 3 times less troops than me 😭. I felt robbed never again. Also another time on classic with caps it got into a massive stalemate and there was more than 4000 troops on the map. I got so tilted by red player who only had 1 territory stacking on cap and I couldn't break through. I got so tilted I just slammed into red and magenta still managed to fumble the game even though I gave them every chance to win by suiciding into black. Red was a master lol. Anyways keep up the content you, Kill pete and other creators got me into Risk and I regret nothing!

Naw, had to take a capital with 80 troops, and a blocker of 160, that's 240 troops for his 358. then add the other 2 cap with 25 each, and cap having defensive bonus... Might have got it with luck, but any bad rolls means he lose the game right there.

Orange being so antagonistic to try and bully you out of your bonus, then botting out because they got broken and no card trade really tells you about orange intending to be toxic about it. They tried to set up a card block to boot. Very toxic to do that right from the jump. Blue also not getting the picture till the very end to team up on white was just painful to watch.

That was a lot of grinding the cards, at some point I would say, withholding getting the bonus even with a lot of cards is a good idea, thus you can force the others to up the bonus, and then you can enjoy 2 bonuses on top of each other.

Was in a somewhat similar situation. So i waited until both side went all in and i won in the end. Never really played the game but watched a couple of video like this. Started playing against bot first a few times then i went and go from novice to beginner and winning 3 out of 4 game because i was in a amazing position and was patient

How do the statistics work? You said that they would need 1k troops to take out your 500. But the attacker at least in vanilla risk has the advantage. It looks like the attacker has a 27% advantage, so I think that means that given big enough armies, you only need 73% the troop strength to expect a tie. So 400 should be enough to take out a 500 every single time??? Because at 100+ dice rolls statistics basically becomes reality.
