I love that you basically just became the Roman Empire in this game. It’s not often that optimal play perfectly emulates historical empires. But yeah just originating in Italy battling North Africa early on just like the Punic wars, and then expanding out to claim the full imperial territory (just short of southern England).

Yeah, but the chronology is a bit weird. In this video, he attacks Gaul, Spain, and Carthage through the Strait of Gibraltar. In history, they first fought Carthage, claimed Sicily, North Africa, and Spain, then turned east and attacked Macedon.

Green slow rolling you down to 69 at the end there was just PERFECT memeing. A wonderful way to end a massive snowball of a game. Honestly, though, I don't think things could've gone better for you. Well played! Possibly the only criticism I have (and it's a super minor nitpick-y thing that might've backfired (not sure): When you broke Purple, you could've fortified to the space in Grece instead of all the way back to the Alps. It would've prevented them from retaking the territory and left your stack more open. But, like I said, it could've also backfired and encouraged Purple to attack you as well. Keep up the good work. Love the content! :D

That's not knocking, it's the heartbeat sound effect the game plays whenever a player's turn timer gets close to the end. It's basically an audible warning that a player is about to run out of time on their turn (that every player can hear for some reason).
