Morehead City Bluefin Tuna (Commercial Fishing)

Commercial fishing for bluefin tuna in Morehead City, North Carolina. I got the invite to jump in the boat with the best bluefin fisherman in NC, and that's not really an invite you turn down. Between Jacky and his brother Patrick, a LOT of bluefins have been caught this season.

So cool watching the line peel off that reel! All I could think about as it was pinwheeling though was getting sharked, does that ever happen with the bluefins?

Uncommon but not unheard of. Great whites will tag a big bluefin sometimes

Those small bluefish are perfect bait.
