Jon Carl Lewis The arrangement was done by the great composer and conductor Rowland Carter. Thus performance is a little faster than he conducts it , but the arrangement was only changed to work with all male voices. It is a powerful melody and lyrics and resonates with all people. Celebrates 100 years since IRS composition in 1921.

Not at all. I have song this arrangement countless of times I can't even count being a member of an HBCU choir. Our director always stresses that we us the tall "eh" sound when saying heaven. It comes across more crisp and clearer than Heavahn.
