If you’re looking for a similar ”longer style” breakdown to the ASU Texas ending, I’d recommend Week 18 Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers ending! So much “drama” has surrounded the Bears over this season - i.e HC fired, almost tying franchise losing streak, haven’t beaten the packers since 2005 or 2008 (I cant remember), and 2 VERY similar end game scenarios from prior games this season but this one going the other way, etc. - TONS of potential for “inside baseball” type commentary could come out of it! Love what you do and the company/culture you’ve built! ✊🏻

Only 10 minutes in, so you may have figured it out in the rest of the video. But the context for an ASU player sitting out the first half is that their DB Shamari Simmons was ejected for targeting in their previous game. If you’re ejected in the 2nd half, you also are disqualified for the 1st half of the following game.

He also forced that fumble that got ASU back in the ball game legit one of his first plays so that impact was def felt, the guy who got burnt on the deep route in the first quarter was a true freshman i think with like no playing time in for Simmons

It's cool seeing how fast you work when using the keyboard shortcuts! Did you learn them all at once, or did you gradually start to learn them as you edited more?
@morejomboy17 күн бұрын
super gradual. have learned some recently and am always tinkering to change the keyboard to whatever i am using most at the time.

How do you obtain the footage for these videos? Is it just finding the broadcast on YT or something and then screen recording? Maybe dumb question but just curious how you get some of these clips so quickly.
@danilo35215 күн бұрын
Hey, this was my first time I saw one of these. I'm a big fan! You can make your workflow WAY easier/quicker if instead of using Positions, you 1) use drag-and-drop to move the video in the frame or even better, 2) use anchor points. I created a Loom screen recording to show you what I mean, but can't figure out how to send you the link. Let me know and I think it will be very helpful for you.

Your “Q” command is called Ripple Delete. My Premiere keyboard shortcuts still match what I used back in the Final Cut Pro 7 days. I love watching how other editors think while they’re working.
@morejomboy15 күн бұрын
Ripple delete doesn’t also make the initial cut in the video. It just deleted and smashes together
@JohnPRyan36315 күн бұрын
@ Interesting. I normally add an edit before a ripple delete. Thanks for showing a new command.

1. I hope some one watching this knows someone who was in the crowd but didn't make the cut so they can show them and how they were "almost in a Jomboy Breakdown" 2. When you edit these things, do you get tired of the audio at the back end? I feel you'll end up hearing the same two seconds over and over and over, and I wonder if that becomes a drag.
