I would love to see the JM baseball channel move more in a direction of all time baseball rather than just past the 2000s. There’s so many great players outside of the last 24 years that never get mentioned. The sporcles are the best videos on your channel. But more of these would be good too

There are some fun Triple Crown combos you can do. For pitching, Sale and Skubal did it this year, Kershaw and Verlander did it in 2011. For hitting, the only time a single season had two Triple Crown winners was when Hall of Famers Chuck Klein (NL) and Jimmie Foxx (AL) both did it in 1933 (also the year of the first ASG)

Excellent concept, excellent execution! So says this old head (43). For the VERY old heads like my father, a devout Washington Senators fan, I will note that the only 21 K game was indeed an extra innings game, pitched by Tom Cheney. One of very few bright spots for my dad's baseball fandom from his youth (along with Frank Howard's streaky power and Eddie Brinkman's smooth fielding).

Loved testing the young guys on the old baseball knowledge. Only one I was way off on was 20 k game. I thought Bob Gibson had one, but was thinking about his 17k World Series game. Definitely nailed the last question. I remember those 110 bags Coleman swiped when I was 4 years old!!

I enjoy this trivia content a lot, and I've come up with some ways to play along at home with some of the other games. This one was super easy to do that with, and I'd love to see more in the future. For what it's worth, I scored 19. I never would have guessed that Nolan Ryan broke the record that many years before his career was over.

Add me to the pile of people asking for more of this. It was fun to watch, but aside from that, it's also the perfect format for anyone who likes testing themselves against the video. (39 points, FWIW, and I nailed the last two questions through sheer luck. I have no idea who Vince Coleman even is.) With other videos like scattergories or the stat drafts, playing along doesn't work because each competitor's choices affect what the others could do. It's also better than the "since 2000" games for the casual fan that wants to play along because those games require a pretty detailed knowledge of the sport during the timeframe. This video focused more on very well known, historic moments and players that even casual fans mostly know about. Even the Billy Ripken photo gave enough context clues that I was within five years without ever having heard of him before. That being said I may have actually guessed way earlier because I wasn't sure if he was Cal's brother or dad until Ryan said something about them being brothers.

This format was great! I definitely would like a sicko's version that's almost all pre-expansion or even pre-integration, but you have to have the right contestants for that. Also I like the hard questions being ones where you have to know multiple bits of trivia, like when did Nolan Ryan pass Walter Johnson. I knew Ryan pitched until '93 and had >5500 K, but I wasn't quite sure how many Johnson had or how many K's per season Ryan got in his later years.

this was awesome! i was doing pretty well until the 20 strikeout game question, but i guessed it would have been in 1969 so i was way off. a word of warning for future rounds though, check to make sure the year isn't on the picture! using the SI cover for hank aaron's home run record is cool but it said April 15th 1974 on the screen!

Old heads like me (42?!) had an advantage for many of the 80s-90s q’s. I finished this with a score of 6. Was off on Henry Aaron’s 715 photo by one year (1973) Was off on Nolan Ryan’s new K record by three years (1986) Missed the ROY by second guessing my correct 1985 guess by writing 1983 (+2)
