!!! NEW Video on Moresky Wooden Flute HERE!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJDMmouYj7Kkhq8

Moresky is so underrated, I think people just don't know about it. After trying their Eb Clarinet (because it's so cheap), I now have the Bass clarinet (to low C), and have ordered a wooden A Clarinet. Took both of these instruments to be checked on by my repairman, he didn't do anything with the Eb and did very little to the Bass. As far as I can tell, these are the same as other Chinese instruments, but they're actually looked at before they ship them, so they don't arrive completely out of whack like your typical Chinese instruments. I have just the wooden flute head, which works with any flute. I was nearly tempted by these wooden flutes, but I think for me getting just the head was a better idea, it is quieter, I don't think I could use it in a band, it's purely for solo work.

I think that better to buy used instrument for the same money, that have a history and help people to earn money. Insted of sponsor Chinese goverment and corporation that didnt care about workers.
@AndieArbeit Жыл бұрын
Why use the head only for solo and not band? What acoustic characteristics does it have?
@jpl9577 Жыл бұрын
@@AndieArbeit The wooden head (and flute I assume) is quite a bit softer compared to a metal one, if I played it in a concert band, for instance, you wouldn't hear it at all.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Moresky. I have the whole range of their entry-level clarinets (G, A, Bb, Eb) and their C Clarinet in ebony (a beautiful instrument). I have their entry-level Oboe. If I were to buy all these as brandname student models at a music store in North America, the prices would be about 5x more.
@PracticaProphetica3 ай бұрын
@@dudemaster8575 Entry-level, student model flutes from brandnames are often made in China anyway, as are many other brandname instruments (guitars, brass, etc.). You are just paying a massive markup to the corporation instead. In this case, probably even less money goes to the Chinese worker, than if you buy it factory-direct.

Very good review. I expect most wood flutes have a warm tone like this. Your first play test piece sounds like jazz which is unexpected, would go great as a duet with a saxophone.

Flute looks gorgeous. I’ll give it that. I bought a Moresky Eb clarinet, and it does indeed play. I haven’t played it much so I don’t know how durable it is.

Hey what do you think after a while about this flute?
@NumeroLetter Жыл бұрын
Wow! See, this review WASN'T helpful, because you're such a talented player that I think you could probably get a good sound out of ANY flute! I don't know whether the gorgeous tone is the flute itself or just your talent! xD I'm going to say it was probably you putting in the work and not the flute, though!

@@josevarela9928 There's a pro Clarinetist on YT (Ilya Galkov) who compares a cheap Moresky Clarinet (which he had a bit of work done on) versus his Buffet Tosca pro Clarinet. There were problems with the pro instrument also that needed fixing. It's interesting to watch.

I want to buy one of these, but there are few information about it. Did the flute work well after the technician repaired it? I mean, does it worth buying it and make some repais? Does it sound good after the ajusts?

Thanks a lot for the video. I want to buy a flute of this brand. Because I came from so far away (China) I run the risk of the box and the product being damaged, it is a risk. Gratitude!

Hola. Después de un año, ¿qué tal sobrevive la flauta MFL-202? La falta de calidad en la fabricación es ostensible, o está en nuestra cabeza? Me sigue costando pensar que hay una buena flauta de madera por 600 Euros. Gracias!!!

Hello. Thanks for the detailed unboxing. Could you give me some advice: is it worth buying this flute for 740€? Just wondering if this musical instrument can be used in performances? I plan to make a gift, but I doubt that the Chinese flute is suitable for teaching and concerts at school.

Hi, my first impressions are mixed. The sound of wooden flute is very nice, but playing is quite hard, because lots of pads are not fit and manufactory isn't precision. I'll take the flute to the repairman to setting, he said it shouldn't be a problem to fix it
