Love it! This is how I grew up & I'd love to see more people get back to raising their own food. Especially since it would be so much more nutritious than what is available in stores. Not only that children would learn some great skills even if the family only had a small backyard garden. Great job! Keep up the good work!

Y’all are absolutely precious! Thank you for sharing part of your lives with us. I wish I had taken an interest in homesteading when my boys were little. Your kids eat healthy and well. The way you are raising your family is so wonderful. Also, the raw egg idea in chocolate milk is interesting…my dad would put a raw egg in orange juice w/a little bit a vanilla and cinnamon and it was delicious! It was our homemade “orange julius”.

Hi Codi, great video with a lot of helpful cooking hints. Your wife is a very creative and talented cook. I don't like eating eggs by themselves, so really liked the idea of adding some eggs to the leftover mashed potatoes and making healthy pancakes. The steaks looked amazing and liked the idea of cooking them on the stove and then taking the juices from it and pouring them over the steaks and bake slightly to combine all the flavors. Codi, you were a great salesmen to sell the idea of the delicious smoothie. Enjoyed seeing the cooking tutorial, dessert and snake time, the family walk and ending the day with popcorn.
