Looks like the river I was on today. Staunton river in Virginia. Got flooded a bit, great fishing and yakin. Cheers bro.

@@johndolan6439 you're right, what a rip off. I launched from there for free shortly after the lockdowns. When I went back a while later to see if it was the same I was told a tenner. I've never been back 😅

Like the overhead looking down, gives a good view of paddling stroke. Prefer looking ahead at head height gives a view that you would see.

Hi Karl, excellent videos, so good I bought an aquatic ottowa too and I love it. How do you dry it? Always seems to be water hiding in the sides and ends.

I liked the rear side angle. Another good video even though it wasn’t the day you had planned! I miss your paddle and camp videos, a nice paddle, camp / hammock with lots of b*ll*cks talked 😁 Can I convince you to do another one??

Out of the camera angles, i think Rear side angle and prow rear facing can work, but maybe use those angles sparingly. On that note, i think the angles you have at the moment work really well, they are personal and its great seeing the front from inside the cockpit, gives a sense of being on the river to. Also, those single Ottawa pros aren't in stock anywhere at the mo it seems, but the Sandbanks` Optimal is on offer atm, tempted, especially seeing as they mentioned they wont have them in stock again till next year! Need something for rivers and quite open and often windy estuaries down my me. Cushty content!

Ey up me duck. I personally didn't like any of the shots bar one where you could see the selfie stick, it spoiled what could have been otherwise good shots. The one shot I did like where you could still see the selfie stick was the prow rear facing as the selfie stick was lying down in the middle of the kayak so it was kinda disguised. Of the shots where you couldn't see the selfie stick I preferred the prow front facing shot and my favourite the overhead face back. 🙂👍

Is the River Ouse suitable for using an E-Fin? I'm on the lookout for new places to use mine, as my local River Hull is heavily weeded up now, and my Hiqmar keeps getting clogged up! :(

Yeah, been on there several times with mine. Autumn is the worst time due to all the leaf debris :)
