To Vipers comment near the end: "we could have me and Hera face each other in the round of 16 for example, thats not good for anyone." Wrong. That is not good for whichever of you loses the match. Its great for all the other competitors! And as a fan and veiwer I do think thats part of what add to the appeal of the tourney. We may have a big knockout early, we may not! and we won't know until the end!
@88porpoise10 ай бұрын
It is a short term benefit to some of the other players, but long term it is probably better for the entire competitive scene to not have one of the two biggest names knocked out in the first round.
@Gnalistair11 ай бұрын
I think you're also missing that while the one viper vs hera (for example) match does slightly worse than if the player names were known, the other 12-14 sets do better because they could be viper-hera, so it's way more beneficial over all

Just wanted to say that mic foam and pop filters do similar jobs but not the same. Pop filters mainly filter out pops or plosive sounds and the mic foam is more for wind and other noise in general while also just acting like a bit of armor for the capsule.

4:40 one of the reasons the hera vs yo semi got less views imo is because it was much shorter, when a b05 is under 2 hours and theres a draft included in that time its pretty obvious its gonna be a 3-0 or 3-1 game which "isnt as interesting" hidden cup shows us that any game can be fantastic outside of the context of the set but as a viewer with limited time in the day to consume AOE2 it can have an effect. even i try not to look at the time because if i know the result (currently 3-1 in a b05 and i accidentally notice theres only 20 mins left on the video) it kills any hype i have for rooting for the reverse sweep.

In a studio room the pop filter alone should do the job. Foam cover is more to protect from unwanted background noises, but can also be helpful if you move around a lot or when the room has some echo.

yeah i think hidden cup focus on average viewers rather than peak view. let's say hera and viper play against each other on a normal tournament, it will have a big view peak, but the rest of the games like, idk, barles vs vinchester or dogao vs villese will not have high views... while hidden cup makes people watch all the games expecting to see one of their favorites play

I usually like these reaction videos but this was kind of "empty". Those of us who've already watched Tiramis' video didn't get much extra reaction from you in this one. It's helpful for Tiramis that you highlight his work but there was only some "yeah", "look at that guy", "why does he have the foam and the pop filter" in the first 15 minutes and that was about it. Again, I really like the reaction videos but then there has to be a "reaction", too! Edit: okay so apparently you realise this near the end. Perhaps just sharing Tiramis' video on social media is better in that case to highlight his work and only make reaction videos if you feel like you have something to react to.

I agree. The flow of the video as well was so good and on point that it felt more like a watchalong and there weren't many spots where it felt natural to stop and talk.
