Saturday started off slowly, plenty of fish coming through the sounder but not much willing to eat, one solid hook up to what was probably a 60+ snapper on the Rapala imposter prawn and an unfortunate gear failure. Noticed some tuna busting up on shallow water so I went for a look, a mix of longies and macs everywhere, but eating tiny bait, managed a few follows and misses, but they died off as the tide changed. Back to the shallows for a snapper and a grunter, and wrapped up a very slow session there.
The next day Izzy and I went back to the same spot hoping to add on what I’d learnt the previous day, where the fish are holding and what they’re eating ect. (Finding it hard to get back into the swing of things after a long time off the water). Found the snapper early, nothing big, a few decent fish dropped, and a couple bream to finish the session.
Thanks for tuning in, and if you enjoyed the video, don't forget to subscribe for more fishing videos. Weekly uploads chasing the local fish of SEQ like snapper, bream and flathead, enjoy.
