I’m a black man who lives in Buffalo around the corner from the tops. I was meant to go get ice cream that day because it was a generally good day. About five minutes before the shooting and then I seen my mom rushing in the house on the phone with her organization. I was confused and then I seen you and Bruce’s tweets about the situation. I’m lucky to still be here from that close call and 5/14 really hurt especially knowing lots of the family’s affected and also with how bad the city is already with racism and poverty. I remember having to go to the tops later that same day to help grieving families and I was just wondering why would someone do this. With our mayor being the selfish person he is, Reopening the tops soon after it feels so bad going back and that also being the only real grocery store in the area. Rest in peace to the victims. We have to do better

While that pre-recorded stream sounds smart, it really could only work if you're a small streamer. If you have over a 100 viewers, a majority of them will know. No longer would you be responding to chat but donations and alerts would not sync up. And lets say they mention "oh im also turning off alerts" in the beginning of stream.
