What Rick Ross said was wrong. What he did would qualify as glorifying r*pe or bragging about r*pe. He got push back and was forced to apologize. What Cardi B did in her past was wrong. What she did was fucked up and she admitted that from the jump. It can't be called glorifying and she never denied or changed her story despite the "outrage". The key difference, I think, is acknowledging wrongdoing, if not fault. Cardi B, while not outwardly remorseful in her first IG live, does tell the story in way as to say, "this is all the horrible shit that I had to do to survive." Whereas Rick Ross was straight up bragging, and he fumbled two apologies till he got cut by Reebok (#BOSS).
