Great review, Matt! For me, the one to have would be the one with the Rover T16 engines from the mid-90s. I believe the M reg for a few years had the 2L DOHC engine, certainly the one that Edd China did the chassis swap on Wheeler Dealers had it. I guess I am biased to Rover engines 🙂

I hired a T16 +4 a good few years ago and it was great, power from low down, yet revved and great mpg. Have loved Morgans for 40 years and this year bought a T16 +4 four seater (luggage space and more headroom) they are lovely, every mile is an experience and a joy.

Okay, longest running... but not without significant improvements. How about the Hindustan Ambassador? I think that one was the longest running production without any significant improvements. Or not? Maybe some Russian (ex-Soviet) UAZ? I really don't know, sorry. But Morgan 4/4 still one of my favorite cars.
