You take into consideration how his fanbase back in the early or late 2000s more or so was catered to younger girls or teen girls with the exception of his male audience as well of course, but only a slight few would've been able to comprehend what exactly it was that Shane was doing. He'd make references and simultaneously using Black face as a peak way of his comedy, which too many might be funny but it's how he'd executed it which in hindsight is an act of racism towards Black people, he isnt the first nor the last of people to use this sort of normalization. But it's how the effect of this especially the consideration of who will see it, is what I view to be the most concerning aspect of it all. He himself had a very controversial past with the use of black face, and pedophilia jokes as well as beastlity intakes. But I can see as though he isnt just all this bad shit as he is at heart a good creator, it's just the way he came about doing so is what is off putting. He has the sense and he brang to his audience many years of joy and laughter, but yet a small fragment of what he had done is the highlight of his career whether it be most defintely bad but in a way an uplifting point as well. As shane is basically being used as a leeway for other people to act accordingly before they end up in the hot seat like him as well. He may of changed as a person but I still see he is still making some irritantional mistakes here and there, which shows to me that his ideas as a creator had changed but his mentally towards it all may of not grown with this change.

No. He didn't sit down and make a video stating what he did was wrong instead he sat and made a video about how he has anxiety and gave excuses to his actions. People want to hold him accountable, and until he does that and shows growth nobody will forgive him except the people he never affected in the first place. I get having anxiety but that isn't an excuse to do the things he did. That isn't me downplaying his anxiety, that's me pointing out him trying to use his anxiety to make people feel bad for him and just leave him alone.
