I bought 2, and they both had fuzzies and what looked like animal hair. I reached out to them before she opted to refund everyone. I had to send in pictures and they told me they would replace them once they restocked 😅 the reason she decided to refund all of them, was because they were getting so many emails of defective product that they just decided to refund them all. She would never truly know what percent were defective since she just refunded everyone.

Even if that 2% claim was true, in quality control that percentage of defects would get the entire batch recalled. 2% of your product at final stage being of subpar standard is NOT a small amount

I still remember prettypastelplease (rip in peace queen you are missed) took the time to wear a whole suit to prevent contamination of the fuzzy lipsticks, got a magnifying camera that showed every detail of the lipstick and took the time to swatch every shade and found fuzz, hairs, plastic bits and metal shards on them. So yeah 2% were the defective ones.

Something I will never understand with these influencers (and often small business owners on Social Media) is that they always react so defensive the second you criticize them. Actually, 2% is really high for a good production company. If I remember correctly, in Japan, the standard for a production is no more than 1% of faulty products. Which makes these 2% twice as much as it should be. So no, darling, it still was bad business practices. Even if it was 2%.

Manny and Laura going off was so annoying. And to say they don’t care when they clearly do and clearly should. Unless your audience who allows that podcast to grow doesn’t matter… then they went on to talk about self help books… like be real. The set looks like a dr office and its wild what people will pay a “designer” to do. A metal gold sign, a wood sofa table, curtains, 2 chairs and two fake plants. At best this should’ve cost them under 2k. They could’ve came back and said “wow we thought y’all would love it” between the two of them they could’ve took the criticism and listen. Adding back personality or color would’ve helped. But Laura clearly calls the shot’s because this beige set screams an extensions of her house. Manny gots no clue on interior design, he will just follow Laura because she has more experience in that department. This is coming from a subscriber. They still have some growing up to do. At little more open mindedness will go a long way.

Regarding the Manny/Laura situation: I watched the entire episode, but had to skip some of the beginning where they spent 17 minutes complaining about not caring what people thought (they clearly did! 🙄which is ok to admit you care!). Manny actually called those giving constructive feedback "bitches," which really surprised me. When you insult people for expressing an opinion that they did not like BUT asked for, In my eyes their credibility starts to crack. But their human and sometimes emotions get the best of us. I guess time will tell!
