Keep an eye out for limited run possibly or an Asia physical release with English at places like playasia. I've got P4G on vita so I don't need the switch edition and P3 is apparently the worst version of the two that exist so I won't be buying that either. Still it's great for those that don't own other machines to experience past entry's in a great franchise.

Same! I played P4G after finding out it was on steam a few months after finishing Royal. I was at the end of April and I was like “uh oh I’m about to have an unpopular opinion”. I know there will be a line of people waiting to tell me how wrong I was. But I’m glad there are others who like P4 or P3 more. Each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I love persona 4’s world, characters, and mood more than Persona 5. Sadly the dungeon crawling gameplay really brought down the game for me from a 9.5 or 10/10 to a 7 or 8/10 and made the gameplay less enjoyable than Persona 5 in general. Both stories are still amazing though

If the teenage version of myself could see how much Persona was in the mainstream nowadays, he would absolutely flip. I used to play P3P on my PSP in bed all night and be exhausted at school. 😅 P4 on my PS2 was one of my favorite gaming experiences, still trying to adapt to the new Chie voice. Lol Then to see P5 absolutely explode with popularity was so great, now its reinvigorated Atlus to bring Persona out of the niche corner it was sitting in. Hope people have the same amazing experiences with these games that I did!!

You should go one step further and get into the Shin Megami Tensei series. It's the parent IP to Persona. I'd recommended SMTIV, the recent(ish) Nocturne remaster or Digital Devil Saga. From there, you can check out all the others like Strange Journey or the Soul Hackers remaster for 3DS.

I feel like Persona 3 is an easy game to not finish, just because the gameplay can get so samey. Always climbing another floor of that tower lol. Worth it to go back and push yourself thru someday, though. P4G and P5R have a lot more variety, so they're easier to stick with, IMO.

I heard they completed the Etrian Odyssey engine for Switch a couple years ago but i assume they wanted to focus on their current games (SMTV and Soul Hackers 2) plus do their ports. I don't know if I'd expect HD ports or a brand new game but if rumours are to be believed their next release will be related to EO

Can't wait to get Persona 4 Golden on the Switch. Dream come true. Easily the best of the series and perhaps one of the greatest games of all time. Played Persona 3 FES but not portable so it'll be cool to return to that game with a different perspective but I'm more eager to return to Inaba

I will always love Persona 3, because there was an option to choose between a male and a female main character 😌❤️ ... ~ I do hope that the future Persona games won't just focus on male gender being the main character. There's just too many games out there nowadays that has male as their main character. Few has female main characters. 😅

After playing Persona 5 Royal on pc right after it released (for the first time), I fell in love with the series. After beating it, I decided to play P4 Golden too and just beat it the other day. Although I loved P5R, especially for the amazing modern style and enhancements, P4G easily topped it imo. The story, setting and characters feel unrivaled to me even compare to P5R, although the gameplay was admittedly not as fun but still pretty good and require more strategy overall. I’m a bit upset that they chose to port persona 3 portable over FES, or not make a definitive edition like everyone wants, but I decided to start P3FES using an emulator and really like it so far. Cheers persona fans!
