Nori is Uzi’s mom. Also even though it was cut out in the reaction, I feel the need to point out: Kahn got pushed out into the hallway when the crowd ran, but actually tried to run back in instead of closing the doors like in episode 1. Just a small bit of interesting character growth. Also also, if you go back to the start of episode 2: Tessa was one of the human silhouettes.

I don't know if you noticed it when re-watching the scene but when Uzi stops the bullet with the Absolute Solver, Uzi & N were shocked/surprised by it but V is aiming her gun at Uzi. Not only that but when re-watching some of the episodes, V was only scared/shocked when the Absolute Solver was involved. In the 1st & 2nd episodes she wasn't scared at all, but in the 3rd, not only was she scared of Doll, who was using the Absolute Solver in general, but became scared and aimed at Uzi when she used it as well

My theory on the necklaces is that they were used to identify the Worker Drones who had the Absolute Solver as in like test subjects. It would be like humans implemented the program in a few selected Worker Drones ( Nori, Uzi's mom, being the second one to have it and Yeva, Doll's mom, being the 48th ) before the wipeout and it would make sense to be hereditary this way, the numbers' purpose only being to distinguish Worker Drones that had the AS. Also, as no Worker Drone seems to be aware of the Absolute Solver, I believe this testing was meant to be a secret among the selected few. We see that Doll's AS first kicked in when she was watching her parents being murdered and Uzi's kicked in when she was shot at by J in the first episode during the fight for a split second. This would mean that the AS is or at least was initially supposed to become active only in life-threatening situations and when feeling strong emotions. I hope this helps you understand a bit more before going into ep 4. If someone could spoiler-check my comment it would be very comforting as i tried not to mention anything that is revealed/alluded to in the next ep.

Yeah, so, uh… if you didn’t feel bad enough for N… (Special-interest infodump time lets goooo) Since episode 1, we’ve seen a lot of growth from him as he’s started testing the waters and learned that making mistakes is okay, now. If he says smth Uzi doesn’t like she’s clear abt it but doesn’t project it onto him, and they move on. There are no harsh repercussions anymore. He’s starting to hold his own against V, too, which is massive considering he could barely do the same with J (literally his ab*ser) and V is someone he cares abt. On the other hand, episode two had a devastating impact on that process. At this point, he’s gone from feeling like a liability for being useless to now feeling like a liability for being *dangerous*. And although they make up, and Uzi seems to think they’re on the same page, that doesn’t appear to be the case. He still feels that way. But it seems like he thinks he’s been FORGIVEN for it. Not that Uzi doesn’t think that of him, or that it isn’t true. It was also basically confirmed in a livestream that N has no self-esteem and believes anything anyone says about him (which, again concerning, given J’s whole sentiment about wanting him dead and his high opinion of her). They said he basically sidelines his own issues to handle everyone else’s. He’s the therapist friend, basically. And then we get the result of all of this in the fight scene, where N becomes protective of the one person he’s afraid of hurting… with no regard for himself. Even shielding her with his wings (which he hurt her with in ep 1). And now J’s back. And they’re being really ominous abt ep 5, Micheal Kovach especially, saying it was his favourite to voice and has some important N moments. Soooo uh… yeah, I’m concerned lmao Also idk if you read through all that but if you’re still here: don’t worry too much abt getting the reactions perfect. Everyone is going to expect smth different. I think just focus on enjoying it, and if you want to pause a lot, or jut go through again later, either works. If you do pause a lot though, personally, I’d rewind a couple seconds to help with the sort of flow of events, if that makes sense? In case smth was cut off. I’m sure there are ppl who’d get more irritated by that but it might make it easier to understand stuff idk 😅

Around 10:06, hard to pinpoint with the cuts, it's after V decapitates N there is a call back to a similar scene in episode one. I'll let you figure it out the contrast between the two scenes, it a clever way to show how J and V view N. The technician that landed was the little girl from N's flashback, Tessa. You want to remember the J, N and V were worker drones together in their past. Where the blood like substances came from, that will be answered in the next episode. In the next episode V reacts to something, not going to say want, but you may want to take a moment to process the scene.

Recap at the end makes sense to please the most people. Plus, it gives you an idea of where you should be looking because you already saw it. 14:00 I think it is blood but it's not as bad as it implies. I originally thought it was just the lighting but ep 4 makes think different. Also at this point absolute solver is just being God I guess. Nori is Uzi's mom. You are in fact correct on the necklaces. Also dolls is a house key. I don't remember if uzi's is too though. But that's an interesting theory. Finally unique. Most people guess that everyone has absolute solver but hasn't activated it yet. Personally your theory makes more sense 32:50 yes. In the flashback j says "hi tessa" & the person who shows up with a key and an earth shaped key chain's name tag says Tessa on it. She also has 5 round fingers & was the only ship that didn't crash. "They never taught us how to land" - N. Tbe blood confused me on my 1st watch too. I figured it had to be oil but was red because of the room's lighting

comments already cover most of it, the blood in the bathtub thing thought *reflective oil under red light* don't think it is supposed to be blood, just look like it for the horror effect. Doll's revenge motive and accusing Uzi of being on the Murder Drone side loses a lot of its weight when Doll was going serial killer cannibal and just axed a few students in that same scene for no reason at all. PS: yeah you need to see episode 4 close to watching this episode...I won't say any more.

so, lizzy is a really interesting character to me, because she was apparently conspiring with doll to set V up, and letting V think she was tricking her when she knew full well that V was planning to kill everyone. Notably, she even seems to be aware that doll was killing people too, since she told doll to "do [her] thing" with uzi. And yet, she tried to warn V about the trap at the last second because V is "way hotter than doll"

Uzi has shifted the blame of her mother's death from the disassembly drones to humanity, probably with the reasoning that humans made the murder drones to kill the worker drones, which is what lead to Uzi's mom, Nori's, death. Of course, there's probably more to the story than that but this seems to be both the extent of what Uzi knows as well as how Uzi is dealing with it and why she's so insistent on giving the murder drones a second chance. They were doing what they were built to do and failure to comply leads to death by overheating, which is also a great way to negate the murder drones' chances of a) replacing the worker drones after killing them all, b) joining forces with the worker drones, and c) surviving past the decimation of the worker drones and the completion of their mission. That being said, given that J seems to be more aware of what is going on, Uzi might just count J as being both part of the problem and not a victim in the same way the other disassembly drones are, meaning Uzi can kill her without feeling sorry for killing a victim caught in a bad situation, like N and V, N being best boy and V being very obviously damaged, likely due to past trauma she can remember that N can't. J seems more aware of what is actually going on and potentially more complicit, which doesn't necessarily make her not a victim but which might make her a victim who either can't or doesn't want to be saved.

After my first comment, I felt I should leave another that isn’t just a rant about fictional characters and whether they should become a couple. I really liked your reaction and loved the way you paused some in the initial viewing and went back for a more diligent comb-through after finishing. 25:19 Like many others that pointed it out, Nori is Uzi’s mother. It’s ok that you didn’t know; I didn’t at first. I think it was stated in a q&a 25:50 I don’t believe it’s blood but oil; it just looks weird because of the lighting, or maybe it is blood because absolute solver was able to make that heart thing for J in ep2 and that was before it reached the humans frozen in cryo-sleep. 26:14 See my other comment; I’ll just say Uzi definitely has a crush, but I think N is just being his friendly self we’ve seen since the pilot. 27:28 There’s this fan theory that N is the one that killed Uzi’s mom, which I like because drama. Just something to think about. 30:30 Also, I agree with everything said here; excellent detective work, I love it. 30:53Tessa is from the N flashback in ep2 31:25 To the absolute solver manifesting weapons thing, I think they have to scan the thing they want to duplicate, because, in the dance fight when Uzi throws a microphone stand at Doll, this loading bar appears before she throws two of them at Uzi. 32:15 The taste for oil, I believe, comes from absolute solver itself because n, j, and most likely v all have absolute solver in their programming but is heavily restrained. 33:00 To add to the memories thing, it’s heavily implied that V has a better picture of their past, so that’s why N wants her to share information with him. To say it again, I loved your reaction to this and would love for you to see you react to the Murder Drones season one teaser; most of the stuff relating to future content is now mute due to it being in ep 2&3, but you get a better sense of the team behind the project and its three figureheads.

As we see in this episode, it’s fairly easy for the Murder Drones to reattach their parts without having to necessarily regrow them. Uzi’s railgun likely instead vaporized N’s head and J’s entire upper body, so it cost a disproportionately huge amount of matter and energy to regenerate from those blasts than it does for them to recover from injuries dealt to them using kinetic weaponry like bullets and blades. This is why N got a robo-concussion and J had to be taken over by the Solver program, but N and V were actually pretty much unscathed from being sliced to bits by the fan blades Doll threw.

I know I’m a week late to the party, but I, like a small minority of the murder drone fandom, don’t care for the Uzi x N ship; if it happens, I’ll be fine, but it just felt a little rushed. N speaking about his crush for V day one and Uzi’s “I am god” moment to psych herself up to talk to Thad in ep2 come to mind. I don’t doubt that Uzi definitely has a crush on N, but all interactions before this episode never pushed me into thinking they would be a pair; N, up until now (not counting anything in ep4 that may be helpful or destructive to my argument so I don't accidentally spoil anything) has only been a good friend and was kind to Uzi, and in his dialogue when Uzi blushes in this episode is just him being possibly oblivious and just nice (you can debate if the time he said Uzi on the dance floor was with passion or shocked by her words), he is the cinnamon roll and is just the lovable idiot trope as stated in the pilot. I will admit the other options are just gone in this episode; Thad just not having any lines and flirts with the teacher (?), and V isn’t exactly putting in any effort, but at least she attempts diplomacy before cutting off N’s head and escaping, which she could have done at any time and never come back. so, a tiny sliver of worker V still exists to an extent. Or maybe this rant is just me huffing copium. Plus, you got to admit the little spark between N and V in the ep2 flashback was just adorable and reminded me of the spark kiss between EVE and WALL-E TLDR: Its dapper buddies not dapper couple.

Just one thing about the so-called blood in the bath tub. There is something you should know about oil initially it is black and generally it will stay that but if it’s a goes through a machine it will sort of gains rusty red sort of colour so what we are perceiving as red blood in the bath tub might actually be, however old oil… But then again, there are some oils that are red when they are first put into the machine in the game the black colour later on as it goes through the machine it in the exact opposite of what I just said so what the red could’ve been is the new oil, the colour of blood, or really really old rusty sort of oil that has been used and reused and oxidised in the air
