I feel like CT is overhyped (especially with younger girls) and I find a lot of it kind of messy and unsanitary-those wand things, etc. A lot of it is grossly overpriced, too-That being said there are definitely great products from both brands here and they look gorgeous on you. The CT setting spray is fantastic. The Rare beauty brow powder is the best I’ve found! It’s completely waterproof and lasts through swimming, too! Fun video! 🤍

I wholeheartedly AGREE with you about how seamlessly meshed and truly beautiful the Charlotte Tilbury looks and wears through the day, Morgan! Yeah, it gets a big thumbs up from me. As for Rare Beauty, so far the only items that I have and love are: Lip Souffles, Lip Oils and one of her OG eyeshadow palettes (the ones with the rectangular pans and GORGEOUS cases with equally great formulas. Don't understand why she gave up on that style and formula when everyone was raving about it for the RIDICULOUS looking half moons and that horrid full moon of glitter!!! Was stoked to see you using my one and only large CT eyeshadow palette, Bejewelled! She puts out one per year, but this one I absolutely had to have.

Don’t sleep on the Rare Beauty powder highlighter. I have literally stopped using all my other highlighters to use the Rare Beauty ones, and I have Charlotte Tilbury highlighters. I personally think they look way smoother that CT and I have very textured skin from acne scars.

I used to be a lot into CT products. At this point, I think there are so many great products from other brands that CT seems a little bit overpriced for me personally. My favorite products from CT: Hollywood Flawless finish powder and the setting spray From rare beauty: the bronzer, the Blush and the Mascara

What I love about CT’s matte lipsticks is how blurring they are! I’ve never experienced such a blurring effect from a lipstick. You said Rare’s is more blurring?! Okay…….. might need to try them now.

Less bronzer on the RB side would have made all the difference in the colors. You managed to make the RB eyeshadow look comparable! For me the RB lipstick beats out the CT and the opposite for lip liners.

Totally agree with your final thoughts CT definitely looks more subtle and gives blended look than RB Initially when you applied i liked RB side more until half of the video then eventually CT started to look much better i guess it takes little time to adjust to skin and then we started to see real magic 👏🏻

Oh my gosh I could not disagree more on the rare beauty eyeshadow palette!! I have that one and it’s my single most complimented palette. As in whenever I wear it (literally any day), people comment about how pretty my eye makeup is and how my eyes look especially good today. I love it! The size, the packaging, but most importantly for me the wearability and ease of making a beautiful look!

I feel like it’s kinda hard to compare because you would think rare beauty is cheaper considerably to CT, but CT is a UK brand that is a lot cheaper in the UK. And I’m pretty sure there’s a markup for rare beauty in the UK as well.

So far I love all the rare beauty products I have purchased, especially the blush you have used. The mascara and eyeliner is also great. The CT side does look more harmonious, however I think you have exagerated on RB side bronzer, which did made difference. Anyways, surprisingly nice dispute between this two.

c. tilbury primer makes your skin look more prefected to me it looks like you don't even need foundation. I like some rare beauty but ultimately CT wins. Did CT reformulate their foundation and cream bronzer it says back then new on the Sephora site. I like the CT concealer not set with powder it looks way better that way to me .

CT has so many hero products. CT’s finishing powder, setting spray, wands, cream shadows, and blushes are so good. Wish it wasn’t so expensive though. Rare Beauty is good too, but nothing stands out to me as much as their cream blushes. I think there are other brands that make products that are better than those in the rest of their line.

Yesss I loved this video. I think Charlotte Tilbury is so overpriced but I did use up an entire one of the pressed powder I def prefer it over the loose Rare beauty one but I still have that in my collection lol. But overall I prefer Rare Beauty because prices are way cheaper but I have never purchased her eyeshadows cuz always heard they're not good anyway but also haven't gotten Charlotte cuz way too pricey for me lol. Charlotte Tilbury’s eyeshadow for a 4 quad are truly overpriced like $50 for 4 eyeshadows for 2 mattes and 2 shimmers is truly not worth the money in eyes

I mean honestly CT is way better than a lot of brands not just Rare . As much as I love CT this doesn’t suprise me . I own a bunch of things from both and to be honest I feel I wasted money on rare ones … they either expire, break or become defective and just do not last during the day when you’re wearing them . At least for us … I dunno CT is a whole different level and doesn’t compare at all.

I disagree- if you are a makeup addict the point of makeup isn't to use it up,it will always expire first. In that case, all that matters is the sticker price (unless you can honestly say you've finished a full-size highlight, I cannot 😅)

Its a tough call. I really don't know who would win charlotte tilbury vs rare beauty. I just know that charlotte tilbury is the best for most, because I feel like they stay on the sheer side while still giving enough to make it seem natural. That's why I pick charlotte tilbury. I prefer Rare. I bought some Charlotte Tilbury's products, the color choices are limited to caucasians. Whereas Rare beauty color choices are more universal. Plus the price points, packaging, etc... for me the Rare beauty products are prettier.

Here's what I think Morgan. If you had started this video from the beginning and said I have one side of my face in luxury price makeup and the other side in more affordable priced makeup, which side is which, I personally would have chosen the CT side straight off from the get go, it looked more pigmented, seamless and naturally healthy and flawless, whereas the other side, when it came to the skin looked more of a stripe where the blush/contour was. That's just my opinion anyway. Great video though. Thank You 🌟

It's interesting, what I noticed in the end is that the Rare Beauty side at the very end of application already looked "lived in", like you'd already worn it for a few hours, and I didn't think in the best way. It didn't look bad, but it just didn't look fresh I guess. I think they both looked great overall though! I am however always team Charlotte! 😁
