Robert Haizlip I'm not sure you understand the words you're using. This is done in the original key and she literally kept every nuance of the original melody intact; she took no liberties at all: it's exact. Now, if you want to talk about a woman hitting these notes as opposed to a man, that's another conversation entirely. And, I agree, it's quite obvious that this was pre-recorded or at the very least, highly processed.

@@fuzzykitty10 I’m just not a fan of the Power Ballad in general. I remember in the 80s it was just part of the recipe for making an album. You had to include a power ballad so the girls would listen. Usually they are a great opportunity for the singer to slow it down & show their chops, but the guitar & rhythms just drag & get monotonous. I’m simply not the target audience for this type of song. Again, the point I was trying to make wasn’t that this is a bad song, it is “Damn, this chick can sing!!”
