It's too bad Tony Harnell lost his range from cancer. When I listen to these two, they have similarities in their styles and tones, and I wonder, during each of their primes, who could have, or would have, delivered the higher note? I still think it's hard to beat the power, clarity, and tone combination of Steve Perry, but I think that's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison.

There were a couple people going back and forth on here about whether or not this is in the same key as the original. I went from this video (where he starts singing the verse) to the original and it absolutely is! This guy is awesome and as a singer who has been singing for nearly as long as he has, what he is doing live here at his age is nothing short of phenomenal!

Dana Dabrowski and jxc777, you're both absolutely right! Miljenko Matijević was far underated, that is because of Sebastian Bach, and Geoff Tate from Queensryche already had the worlds attention and several albums had already been released. He was also placed in category with Mark Slaughter, and C.J. Snare from Firehouse. Now not one of those guys can do what Miljenko can do today.

For a “hair band” singer, he had an unbelievable range that few could rival. Sebastian Bach, Mark Slaughter...but from 1990-this recording, he could still nail the notes. And sang the Rockstar movie originals. Crazy talented

Mili, and Sweet are amazing performers and great human beings . I met Sweet on a meet and greet and he let us take photos with him , Mili wasn’t available at that venue for meet and great that I was aware of but he did a stellar performance they both did .

Me and my wife are big fans of the 80's an 90's music. we live in this little po' dunk town in Ohio with a bar called. The Wet Spot. They would get a lot of these Popular groups in the place back in the day. One night it was Steelheart and well it was a small bar and not a big crowed that night. Me and the wife having the absolute time of, or lives sing along to every song he sang. He came down while preforming this song, sat between me and my wife and all 3 of us sung it together. He is the nicest dude ever and for such a small crowd. He still preformed like it was a stadium. Had a few beers talk about the past . Had an exceptional time. Sing ability through the roof .

This guy has an AWESOME voice! Wow, after all these years too. High registers really diminish with age for most singers so it's pretty incredible he can hit the high notes like he does. His lower register is very pleasant as well though, he's a great singer all around! I didn't realize he played guitar, he's very decent at that. I've always loved this song, it's beautiful and those high notes are out of this world.

I just saw Firehouse a couple of months ago and they sounded the same as they did in the 90s. I thought the same as you... to maintain those highs over the last 30 years... you gotta tip your hat to whatever grace God gave these talented vocalists! It's rare and remarkable!
