This video is from 2 years ago but I would love more video content like this instead of just shorts and recipes maybe trying Middle Eastern food from different shops or restaurants or even like countries and actual videos ❤

I love the shakshuka and like to have it on hand for a quick breakfast. I also bought the Knafeh this weekend because I've just had knafeh in the brain and my brain sis a dance when I saw it. I'm going to try it this weekend

Shakshuka is so easy to make I don’t know if I cld bring myself to purchase at TJ’s lol 😂 or frozen from anywhere

Thank you for the Za’atar tip! I liked the flavor of the TJs one but even using a ton felt like it was lacking some depth... I think TJs snacks and food are good for when you don’t want to cook but want some of the flavor! All of the Mexican/Latin food deff doesn’t come close to what I can make, and neither do their Indian items, BUT I always keep some on hand for those days I have 15 minutes for lunch or it’s been a long day 🤣

You have an engaging personality! You should make more such videos that are beyond recipes, like more get to know me types. Or maybe Trader Joe’s seasonal items review as well

Can you do a video on things to try from Trader Joe’s?

OMG I cannot thank you enough for doing that or even thinking about doing that As a Lebanese myself where we take so much pride in our food I get offended every time I go to Trader Joe's and I see that tabouli or kibbe the two main national dishes of Lebanon the tabouli didn't even care to try it because it looks anything but tabouli it looks like more of a barley salad The only thing I give trader joe's a credit for is their garlic paste the toum

War'a dawali to me ias always done in tomatoe sauce and ,warm. I keep a pot of that, malfoof, and tabouli stay in my house weekly lol. Maqluba and shwarma to spoil myself. All store bought food has to much In it. I came here from palestine when I was 4. I love arab food to much to buy it. Great video though its nice that arab food is becoming popular in stores

I'm just surprised to see these items in a regular US store (rather than a middle eastern store) you wouldn't find almost any of them in a UK supermarket but looks like it's probably best left to the middle eastern stores and restaurants anyway.
@mariz66313 жыл бұрын
We have the first one in the uk
@rachael45123 жыл бұрын
@@mariz6631 Yes, you can find dolma and falafel but kibbeh, shawarma, tabbouleh, börek etc you wouldn't find. Fortunately I live in an area with a lot of Turkish/international supermarkets so I can either find these things or the ingredients to make them 🙂.

Have you tried making tabouli with pomegranate molasses? Like WOW even in fattoush, my MIL does it with lots of salads and it’s actually my addiction
@Moribyan3 жыл бұрын
Haven’t had tabouli with Pom molasses YET but I always put it in my fattoush and you’re right, it’s amazing!!
@rachael45123 жыл бұрын
Is it not usually made with pomegranate molasses? The Turkish version (kısır) is always made with molasses.

What do you expect about the dolmas having mushy rice??? It’s been sitting inside an aluminum can for who knows how long. Of course, it’s not fresh. No canned food is fresh. I don’t know why people complain about canned food. You won’t be complaining if it’s the end of the world and you’re forced to eat canned food. Don’t review food if you’re too high class for canned goods and premade stuff. Just appreciate the face that you have food compared to the millions of starving men, women and children in Pálestíne and any third world countries. Next time you complain about food, just think about the babies and children in Gázá.
