@@noir2559 but halwa is difficult to make, I didn't know it can be homemade even I always got it from turkish shop nearby 💀 middle eastern shops have it in many more types too so maybe there's easier ones, but the version i get is just what that shop has and it looks difficult

man. you think i'd get used to how brilliant and creative they are, but mori-san continues to amaze by how much care and attentiveness they put into these dishes. has made me happy to see them tackling the sumeru dishes as well, which i guess would be more unfamiliar to them than inazuma's japanese dishes. happy new year to you and your family mori-san!

Honestly, if they made a cookbook of Genshin recipes I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Of course, making one would require a lot more work and effort that they might not have the time for, but if they ever considered it, I'd be delighted to buy a copy

Halva (or Halwa in my native language, Bangla) is a dessert popular in parts of Asia. I've never been too fond of it personally but I'm surprised to see it featured in a game as popular as Genshin Impact. I don't know if the recipe for actual halwa is the same as in this video but it looks delicious nonetheless (especially the cakes shaped like heart-shaped Bodhi leaves) Great job as usual

it's actually quite popular in eastern Europe as well as far as I'm aware. I'm from Greece and halva is very much part of our culture

Yea Halwa is mainly middle eastern (iran/turkey/arabia) the spelling makes sense as halwa because it mean sweet in Arabic, now that I understand its also halwa in bangla I must ask... WHO DF KEEPS SWITCHING W TO V 💀 fr whats up with that 💀 its not even easier

Well, Halwa is made with Sooji or Bombay ravva as mums here in my state would call it. And that isn't as easy to shape as the one in the recipe of this video. So good for Mori that she went for this recipe. Indian halwa is partially sticky but that's what is so good about it.

Halva definitely **does not** taste like marshmallow 💀 it's more nutty and slightly sweet, im from middle east and i don't really like it but some do enjoy it

Halwa is a very popular desert in Iran , Iraq and South Asia(India,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Nepal)...We usually call halwa a cake and eat it on special occasions.

It's not always hard- the halva my mum bought from Persian shops was always quite crumbly, although pretty moist. This one looks pretty close recipe-wise but it's darker in colour.
