For mere mortals like us this melody could not be sounding that nice, almost would make us wondering if it's really played by this insanely skilled player. The crucial point is, how he makes the high notes. Normally a particular note is created by properly pressing on a right spot on the string, for the high notes, such spots are near the bow. How he makes that is completely different here, he does it barely touching left string at some points (which normally are for low notes), which makes squeaky sound and amazingly they are the right (high pitched) notes. Not only this is hard, it's very unreliable to do it consistently. I think he nailed that.
