Absolutely, @mikeglo168! It's truly remarkable how some artists can create such a powerful, emotional connection, even in the most casual settings. Sitting cross-legged, multitasking between keys and tech, yet still delivering a performance that touches the soul is a testament to genuine talent. Morissette is an angel! Sitting in her room cross-legged, playing the piano and singing this song in the most beautiful and moving way possible. Amazing!
@voicesavvy9 ай бұрын
Indeed, @SvMykolas! The image of Morissette, sitting cross-legged, playing the piano, and singing with such beauty and emotion, perfectly captures her angelic presence and talent. Honestly, she's on another level. It's baffling how she manages to deliver such incredible vocals while sitting and playing the keyboard, appearing completely at ease. She isn't even positioned ideally for singing-sitting and leaning forward slightly can limit lung capacity and affect vocal power. Yet, she's nailing it! Her ability to overcome these physical constraints and still deliver a powerful performance is truly remarkable. 😀

When you consider that this is a completely off-hand, unpracticed performance sitting in a room and playing the piano while reading the music - this is the worst possible setting yet she shines through. I’ve been through the mori rabbit hole a few times and I’m enjoying it more with you because you appreciate the talent behind the voice. I’ve seen many of her videos and performances but this is my absolute fave because it’s so raw and so real. But once again she killed the vocals and i can’t stop listening to it ever since. It has brought me to tears a couple of times in fact. She has that ability to do that to you. Oh wow, i'm not a fan of this song usually, but oh my god... She really hit me right in the feels already in the first verse. Morissette's ability to convey emotion when singing is unparalleled. There is singers who are amazing at technical singing and then there is singer's who has the ability to actually use that so well that it sounds like the voice is just the instrument for the emotions to manifest. And in my book Morissette Amon is by far the best singer on the planet when it comes to conveying emotion and bringing the story of a song to life. She never fail to deliver.

She deserves to be seen more in an international stage. It's just sad that some Filipinos keep on bashing and dragging her down. Maybe that's part of her journey as a singer as she outshines a lot of other people's idols.

I have been waiting for Tour dates for Mori for more than 4 years, and now she is coming to Germany on May 11th to Frankfurt with another singer Darren Espanto, and where am I, visiting family and friends in England and Scotland who I have not seen in over 5 years, 😭😭 I will have to see if I can organise a flight to Frankfurt and stay overnight and fly back the next day, normaly I live one and a half hours away with the train damm, now I will need 24 hours and 300 quid more if its possible 😢 now try Morissette Amon stages sessions Quaranthemes singing Broadway Musicals, she says she's not that good with this Genre, check it out and see and hear for your self, the songs HOME from the Wiz, then MEMORIES from Cats, SOMEONE LIKE YOU from Jekyll and Hyde, then from Madam Siagon, sorry the title comes not into my old head, then from the Waitress SHE USED TO BE MINE and last but not least from Wicked DEFYING GRAVITY all absolutely beautiful, and she says she not that good 😂❤ ENJOY your journey, and maybe see you in Frankfurt. 😊

I totally feel your frustration about the timing, @johnroberts5797! It's always the way, isn't it? When something you've been waiting for finally happens, and then scheduling conflicts come out of nowhere. Your plan to possibly make a whirlwind trip to Frankfurt for Morissette's concert with Darren Espanto sounds both exhausting and exhilarating. It’s a testament to how much her performances mean to you! Given the effort and the cost involved, it’s clear you’re a true fan. It would be an amazing experience, especially after such anticipation. And the mention of her Stages Sessions Quaranthemes-where she tackles Broadway Musicals-just adds to the allure of seeing her live. Morissette's humility about her performances in genres she's "not that good" with, only to absolutely nail them, is part of what makes her so special. Thanks for the recommendation; I'll definitely check out those performances. And you've convinced me; I might try to make it to Frankfurt for the concert too! It sounds like an opportunity too good to miss. Maybe see you there! 😊🎶

@@voicesavvy was looking where I could buy tickets, but again no chance, Mori and Darren's concert is sold out with in 24 hours, I wanted a vip ticket no luck, the normal ticket for the back seats and for the journey and expense a little bit too much to take on at 68, it would have to be a front row seat to take on the Journey, so it looks like I will have to wait again, 😭 it was the same with Celine Dion when she cancelled a few days before because of her husbands cancer the first time, at least I got to see Queen in 1974 in Leeds University just before Bohemian Rapsody, man I'm getting old 😂😭😭 anyway thanks for your reaction, keep following Mori, there will be by the end of May new videos from the concert, so I will watch it later on my big screen on KZbin, hope you enjoy my suggestions, just googled Morissette Amon stages sessions Quaranthemes, and all the songs were listed, I just don't know why Mori has my heart, I have been watching old favourites but they don't grab my heart and give it a big HUG like Mori, so Thanks again for listening to me babbling on, stay healthy and more Mori. 😁

Hello Collena, @voicesavvy greetings from UK As a vocal coach I would highly recommend to you a song called "Ghost Love Score" by a band called Nightwish Nightwish - 'Ghost Love Score' is one of the three most reacted to songs in KZbin history kzbin.info/www/bejne/amjIkGxsZrSEjac Check it out and you will see why. They are one of the best metal bands in the world with one of the best female vocalists of any genre, the great Floor Jansen who is a classically trained Soprano who can sing anything from classical, Pop, Metal, Opera, Jazz all the way to Death Metal growls. Most singers sing what they can, 'The Valkyrie Goddess' Floor sings what she wants! 😊 Floor (who used to be a vocal coach herself) is beloved by vocal coaches the world over and is held up as a great example of healthy singing technique

Thanks for the heads-up, @markclements7767! I haven't heard of Nightwish or "Ghost Love Score" before, but your description has definitely caught my interest. Floor Jansen sounds like an extraordinary talent, and I'm intrigued by her versatility across so many genres. I'll make sure to check out the song and see for myself why it's so highly regarded. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! 😀
@markclements77679 ай бұрын
@@voicesavvy Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. That particular song showcases at least three different voice styles but is nowhere near her entire range. It is also a good representation of the style of music that Nightwish perform, a style called 'Symphonic Metal' which is composed end to end music blending the traditional Metal instruments of keyboards, drums and guitars with symphonic orchestral instruments and choirs. The best version of the song is their performance at the Wacken (pronounced Vah-ken) festival in Germany in 2013 as the videography and sound from that concert were of very good quality. Being Dutch, Floor's surname is pronounced Yah-nsen (The 'J' is pronounced 'Y') 😊
