If you're not watching her Nick we sometimes couldn't tell she's singing live! This is the first night and of course she's already killing it. I agree with you, Nick, in all your comments about Morissette. And, for me, for me, for maaeeeh (pun intended), Morissette's "Never Enough" is the best, it has always been, and it always will be. This performance with the legendary David Foster sounds like the one on the Wish Bus (which has always been my favorite), but this is an improved one, especially with the last part, instead of the soft "for me" in the bus, is now a belted "for me". The level of confidence, grace, resonance and power is incomparable. Her warm, bubbly and humble personality, she even did a "mano" (hand on forehead, a sign of respect for the elderly) to David, and her ever-present smile, always add to her x-factor as one of the best artists and performers in the world today, on top of her incredible talent. Also, can we not notice how stunningly beautiful and gorgeous she is in this performance. 🥰😍

I think that gentleman loves her the way every other guy not named Dave Lamar loves her. Plus if he's Filipino then there is another layer of love and pride. So I don't think he meant that any other way. If he did, or does then he has a problem. Loren Allred is the singer you're thinking about. She was just on BGT 2022 or 2023. This was her audition song. She has heard Morissette's 107.5 Wish Bus version and was blown away by it. She said, "how come she (Morissette) isn't more well-known?" I have a sneaking suspicion we may see our girl popping up in the states sometime soon. I think Morissette is going to be on every night of this stay. David's wife Kathrine Macphee is the main headliner. But it is perfectly clear who the better singer is.
