Morissette opened up her heart to us all. She lived her first encounter with Jesus and shared her emotional & spiritual birth with us. Tears & deep emotions are a great part of such an encounter. I cried like I have never cried. The wonder of it all: God loved me and gave me Jesus. Going to Heaven because Jesus paid for my sins! The Messiah, potentially, came for us all: we choose and God honors that choice. Great reactions. It is a life altering choice.

One bit of technical information - Although the video was shot in one take, the audio was recorded in studio. This version of the video (from just one of several cameras in use for the shoot) was released to show that her physical performance was done in one take. The official video has far better production quality, since most of the cameras were on stabilizers. (I believe this one was handheld) BTW - This in no way takes away from Morissette's performance...it's just that a space like that would have had bad reverb problems for audio...and her being hunched on the floor would have made it very difficult to get proper support for her incredible voice.
