When Mori does covers of other songs, she kills it. But when she comes out with an original song, it's so much tailored exclusively to her style, it's very hard to cover in a way that will outdo her rendition. There's a rumor (yeah ok; probably JUST a joke) of someone who was rushed to the hospital due to breathing problems. The patient apparently tried to sing Mori's "Akin Ka Na Lang" exactly like Mori did... ran out of breath and fainted! 😁

After listening to Mori, I'm often breathless and tired. I just realize that I hold my breath when she hit the high notes and when she sustain those notes. Not that I'm worried she might not hit the notes. I was doing it unconsciously.

As good as Mariah was, this girl delivers a much more resonant and cleaner more precise quality vocal, at 62yrs of age, I have never come across such an amazing vocalist/artist/performer/ entertainer in all my life, the legend that will be Morissette Amon, another thing that sets her apart from the rest is that she is no drama Queen, doesn't carry any baggage, doesn't have an ego, doesn't do drugs, smoke or drink, she just lives for being the very best at her craft, and boy is she the best, she has no equal, I have watched her journey for over 3yrs now and I struggle to listen to anyone else, I just feel the rest are a gang of self obsessed frauds who spend most of the time creating drama's, and then writing songs about them,except Jessie j.

His band is 3rd Avenue which most of the time is Morissette's band in her concerts. They sang with her on the "Rise up" Acapella in Morissette's YT channel. It's a great performance. Mori simply does covers her way; squeaks + belts in most songs. Whistles are here but not in every song. I agree on sparing the whistles. They follow the law of economics called diminishing returns. Recently, Mariah has increased her whistle range, even higher than Mori's. This does not mean that Mariah should use these higher than Mori whistles many times.
